Anytime I try to use this steps to update, it appears that' the update cannot be started. You must use the update data that is compatible with the model in use'please help me 🙏

This really helped me. All the other tutorials I saw skipped a step where you had to create the update folder so I wasn't sure what to do. Also a ps3 controller charging cable works on a psp to connect it to a computer if you have one. I used my ps3 controller charging cable to update the psp through the PC I have.

I was going to ask if you plugged the speaker back in. LOL.

I just bought one of these and I love it. I have a really old 20000 from Anker. And this new one does charge faster than the older one does. Plus the trickle charging for smaller items on this one sounds good. I have not tried that yet.

Just bought an official PSIO. Thanks for the installation video. You made it look pretty easy. I've never cut a trace before (on my model I believe there are only 2 to cut) and wasn't sure how best to do it. Incidentally, someone on Reddit installed this in a PSOne! It looked like they removed the board in the parallel pack and mounted it internally!
