Thanks for explaining that, i now know where i stand regarding multiple monitors and what they display in msfs. i thought that what msfs had in thier old versions would be available in the new version, sadly thats not the case i have been driving myself mad looking for the menu option to add a different view,! however, i have been stretching my view to my 2 side screens since i bought it, but i have to do this everytime i launch msfs. i find the view acceptable if a little stretched.

Hey! I loved every freaking bit of your two videos on how to program the ATmega328P chip. Wonderfully done!! I am trying to do the same thing for ATmega32u4. I have the breakout board with me and I have tried to flash it multiple times but it does not work and says that my device signature is 0x000000. Is there a way I can contact you or do you have any suggestions? This might be a lost cause but I truly need some help, it would be truly legendary if you reply to his, I know it has been 3 years since you uploaded this video, but help a brother out maybe ? :/

I now have the confidence to go ahead & order both the battery & face plate as it is cracked/scratched.🤓p.s. My "T1" tool was the sharp tip of my pocket knife-it works ! I'm a little concerned with the soldering part, ahead of me !

Why should an external pull up be necessary? The processor has an internal one and since the signal is active low, a induced signal is quite unlikely

If you look at the TommyPROM code that removes the software copy protection you'll see there's not really any special optimisation needed. The necessary control writes are just bit banged onto the address and data lines, with the write enable line then pulled low then high with 1 microsecond delays inbetween. That worked for me with my own Arduino Mega homebrew programmer.

Honestly, I don't want to hear an apologetic discussion what is not possible. That is boring. I want to play FS2020 and a solution .As former programmer we always get a slolution. For almost all things. My advicetothe programmers of FS2020: be ambitious or let it go. And now I am going to^buy X Plane and a 3rd monitor with the same resolution....

I have two GM328 transistor testers (from Aliexpress), based on ATMEGA328P (28 pin DIP). During brightness adjustment (through the menus) they became dark (one after the other). The consumption is fine, the clock is running (8 MHz crystal), the LCD control pins are active (transitions seen by scope) i.e. the hardware is fine. I presume the manufacturer locked the code. A soldered wires from the board pins 1(RST), 2(RXD),3(TXD), 7(+5V), 8 (GND) and terminated them with a header, fitting my FTDI (GND,CTS,Vcc,TX,RX,DTR), taking care to cross link TX, RX (of the baord) to RX, TX on the FTDI. I also inserted a 0.1uF cap in the DTR to RST line. On the board there is just a 10k pull up on RST. When trying to load a sketch via FTDI, it cannot open the port. I guess there is no boot-loader either. How do I determine if there is a boot-loader and if the code is locked? Do I buy new chips or somehow unlock the present ones. Apart of FTDI, I have several NANOs if that is of help. Thanks Plamen
