LosetheTrainingWheels
Lose The Training Wheels™ is more than just a bike-riding program. For many children with disabilities, its a seemingly impossible task they can typically master in less than a weeks time. Within days of learning to ride, many children exhibit independent behaviors for the first time ever. This achievement, in turn, creates a gateway of opportunity, helping them gain assurance and self-reliance in many other aspects of their lives.

Seems like they’re throwing away good meat. I think we’ll look at this procedure in the future like lobotomy. Cutting out half of the brain for some electrical activity seems much too excessive as disruptive as seizures seem to be. Perhaps the children will outgrow them. Better off avoiding unnecessary intervention.

Even after half brain removed , how can she remember everything . Does that mean that memory is stored in some other way reather then being stored as connections of neurons

@@Kumarrohan67 She remembers because the hippocampus, the "memory center" of the brain if you will, is a bilateral structure which means it is found on both sides of the brain. There are still connections of neurons to create and store memories. (Neuroscience major watching this vid as an assignment)

IOW, Atheism is also a religion of the confused ones, Satanism is also another well-known religion... Nothing can take place without God's hand blessing! Everything, both known and the unknown are under God's control! Only fools try to take Him out life-equations

what are you talking about? Who says the brain is completely hardwired? Anyway, one study does not "prove" anything, regardless of the subject, from physics to anthropology. If you read about Dr. Bach y Rita you'll see no claim that he PROVED anything. His study SUGGESTS this, PROVIDES EVIDENCE for that. If you want to speak authoritatively on such subjects I suggest you study the scientific method and how science itself works

@Eohyr The left side of her face isn't swollen, it's partially paralyzed. As stated in the video, left hemisphere controls right side of body, and vise versa. Her right hemisphere was removed, hence, the left side of her face is affected. She might recover from that later, but it's possible she might not also. But I just wanted to point out that it's not swollen, just partially paralyzed.
