I wasn't in the direct path. Got a lot wind where I was. Lost power and cell service for a while, but we're back up 100% now. Thanks

Nah. I get it, and like I said, they're trying something to bring the muscle car spirit into their transition to electric. I can appreciate the effort even if I disagree with it.

I can't, in good conscience, put a thumbs up on this comment because that absolutely sucks. I don't have any real tutorial on taking the vent area apart to recover anything. I wish I could help.

Like I said, nothing wrong with it as long as you're not trying to make the car something. it's not, imo. It's less of an issue if someone's putting on an SS or even an LT1, I think. Yeah., rattle cans would be any good for it. Maybe a wrap if I could find the color?

@jimrageLT1 yeah. Fair enough. I've decided a while ago I'm never buying new vehicle again. After getting my insurance hiked by GM. My 2015 Focus is gonna have to last. I'm just gonna get an e bike and move near where I live. Or I'll wait till the technology gets so obsolete that they can't collect data. I'd assume 10 to 20 years for current vehicles.

They might be worried about losing any "special access" to GM they may have if they write anything that doesn't massage the scrotum of the EV movement. It happens in entertainment news a lot with movie critics.

Maybe...and I'm just putting this out there...maybe if they could have spared 100hp out of that 1000+, they put into the ZR1, and a fraction of the time and development, for a new 7th gen ICE Camaro we would all be in a much happier place right now. Instead, they dump time, $$$, and HP into a car for a market that maybe 2% of customers can afford.
