In fall 2023 I bought a treadmill and started running on treadmill for the first time in my life! This was the same time I started learning about stoicism thanks to your channel! I lost 20% of my body weight in less than 3 months! I was not overweight to begin with but not carrying around that 35 pounds of fat definitely helped my mental and physical strength and shape !!! I take time every day to just appreciate and be grateful during my alone time, usually the first few hours of the morning (I am married but my husband honors this precious time by not interrupting it). People can be exhausting and draining. Unless their energy matches yours. I have a job where I am forced to interact with the public, so having alone time is critical to my well being...

The most alone I ever felt was naked in bed with my 1st sexual boyfriend at 19. Still can recall recognizing that. I was quite surprised. That was half a century ago. Key has always been liking myself utterly. I am never bored in large part due to having a strong sense of humor including never taking myself seriously. Ever. People usually mistake my deep irreverance for not caring. Absolutely I do not care about that. Privately, I am very empathetic with enormous sympathy that urges me to do what I can for others including exercising a daily private mission of finding at least 1 person to serve. Doing that makes my day always. I stay personally happy by choice. People like Wayne Dyer, Eleanor Roosevelt, my Mom, my Sister, both now gone for ever, and the Dalai Lama are my life's heroes I am so grateful for. Gratitude is KEY. Although married 22 years and close with my adult sons I have lived alone most of my life, with the positive intention of being with the last love of my life when I move to Europe in the near future as sharing fun is precious with much in this world to enjoy. Lifelong have had a precious cat an dog all of whom have given me endless JOY, laughter and innocent fun and have been my life's teachers at every turn. Staying grateful. Namaste.

Less people less problems

I'm 60% extrovert and 40 % introvert. Being alone at the begining (few friends with whom I hung out ONE ON ONE) made me feel lonely, empty, battery went to almost zero %, because I really craved hanging out with a GROUP of friends(was 80% extrovert ). After a decade of craving this wider social circle I came to terms with it. Now, I don't even need one on one any more. I can say I' ve learned to be more introverted. I like it. Less people, less drama /annoyances. If I'm alone more than 3 days, I don't feel socializing at all. But when I do socialize, I want socialization to continue. Sometimes I'm wishing to just be alone for longer perod of time, just to get used to it and see what happens in that state.

Most of all children are highly inquisitive. They don't even live by faith that their next meal will arrive.They'll cry and seek to find out the truth.Fear doesn't stop them from double and triple checking their parents beliefs and demands. Incase they might be wrong, or lieing . And the reality is, unless Jesus had of had a childlike inquisitive mind , that didn't live entirely by faith alone, or by fear, then there also still might have been no new testament, even by now. Christendom has been twisting this to help to cause people to enter into blind faith. Many Christians don't even bother to research church history thoroughly enough. Or bother to consider the real meanings of words, in the original languages they were first translated into either. Therefore why much of Christendom is based on blind faith associated to fear and dare i say systematic styled ignorance.

All relationships result in betrayal, that's why it's always better to be alone. Alone but not lonely.

Its been 3 weeks since I've moved to a different city and staying alone and have joined a new company. I never imagined this would be the scenario when I was surrounded by hostel mates and post that several flatmates. But staying alone has taught me so many things. It really doesnt feel like 3 weeks, it actuallly feels more than 3 months have passed by. I am at real peace, I work, focus on myself and try incorporating healthy habits. Its a great feeling until now. ❤

Living in the city for so long stressed me out so bad that it started to effect my behavior in ways I wouldn't have been able to identify till the minute i moved out to this beautiful cabin of mine nestled on the edge of a beautiful lake in the middle of the woods nowhere Texas, since then my mental health has improved drastically, i'm able to focus on my business, and i feel like a million bucks ... Its not for everyone but for me, there's nothing better than coming home and enjoying the view in my quite peaceful home, i see my friends when i want to and when i don't i enjoy the time i have to myself ... To some people, there's nothing better.

Being alone without the mobile phone or under the limited usage…… The definition of being alone has been distorted these days…
