This is good question. I always try to buy these either direct like in this case from Google store or Amazon where seller is Amazon too. So I would recommend same.

@@ConfusedNRI I live in such a country where neither Google nor Amazon is available, pixel buds are sold by 3rd party sellers. Most of them sell counterfeit products which look same on outside.

For a second i was laughing too :). I believe you need WiFi to work. But I would test it out and let you know. As Ring camera needs wifi , it should not work.
