Antique malls and shops need to be stopped. I snagged Ninjak 1-7 at an antique shop and they stuck post it notes on the covers and on the first page of the books with the prices written on them. The girl who checked me out kept ripping the post it notes off like it was a bikini wax. Now i realize the post it note isnt as terrible as the stickers they had on your issues but this girl wasnt qualified to remove post it notes from comic books. She had so much trouble and complete disregard for the book. I would have loved for her to ruin the books just so i could walk away. Thankfully it all worked out, comics unscathed but goddamn dude.

a year or so ago trent crowdfunded some new creed material, and did a cross over with another indie title called cyberfrog. the crowd fund is closed now but the book is called creed reimaginary, and he did an appearance in cyberfrog unfrogettable tales 3 iirc both are available via their ebay store

Nice finds man! Yeah I am at that point of my life where comic books over $1 are just too damn much. I have a source where they sell them for $2.25 so that's not to bad since some of them are from the 80's and early 90's. I am just trying to fill holes of my collection. I went to some run down antique mall where this guy was sitting and seems to be miserable doing it and just sits at his little slice and watches anime all day Sat and Sunday. I had a pile of books and the price came out to over $400 bucks and I gave him an offer of $400 bucks, said he couldn't do it and I told him neither can I. Needless to say I have found the books way cheaper at other sources.

Dude the seller knows exactly what they are doing. You calling them “$12 books” means you’ll lose money on EBay, if you can sell them in this market. The threshold for books in the wild for flips should be at least $20 now. No one is making money flipping garbage anymore. Seems like you are brand new to the hobby- you’ll learn! Good luck.

I'd try a steamer. Slowly increase moisture and test the sticker so as to not over saturate it.

Awesome finds. There's a few ways to get those stickers off. Without damaging the book. A little time consuming but worthwhile. Blow-dryer is definitely one way. Just watch the heat . Where is this located? I've never heard of The Antique Mall. Enjoy your day and happy hunting 👍

Wow i can only dream of a find like this here in Australia

Always take photos of Comics you want but may not be able to get presently and find them later on some place else and it saves you a trip as well.

Avoid buying Comics with stickers of any kinds attached to them and search some place better as this was often known as (Sellers Revenge )thus making the Comics worthless and the seller themselves make a little money as well as you can only enjoy reading the books. Nothing really new,but now you know so keep after your favorite Comics.
