Having owned piggies for over 15 years, along with the proper amount of usage of the Little Adventures herd in this video, I can completely agree with all these points.

I had a sow that had ovarian cysts. She lost a lot of weight, though she was bloating and "felt" fst. She was older and spaying was super risky, and the most humane thing was to have her put down. :( Most of the time I try to pay attention to mine. One of mine has been hiding a lot, but I realized she was just chilly and she usually didn't want to leave her nice warm nest! It's important to remember that not ALL guinea pig eye discharge is bad. They actually produce a natural eye discharge while grooming, and they spread it over their hair like a natural mousse! Most guinea pigs leave some behind and it can crust up a little, but it's harmless. HOWEVER, if the guinea pig is having CONSTANT discharge, it's any color besides white, and/or they are blinking or squinting, definitely have a look at it.

A factual error - do not apply the vitamin C supplement to water, it dissipates after just 10 minutes. Feeding the supplement as is through syringes works though

this makes me really sad, i had one that would make noise each time he was on my lap as i pet him (most likely purring) and i would stop thinking i was hurting him, realizing he was actually liking it makes me sad cause he passed away a year ago :(

Nice and very informative video. Thank you for the credit when showing our guinea pigs. At 4:53 it's Lily she crossed the rainbow bridge last spring. She was abandon to a shelter because her cage passed away and the owner didn't want to continue having guinea pigs. We gave her a second chance and she was happy for 18 months with the other piggies.

I hardly ever grabbing Surprise on my own. Usually my Mother, Father or older sister Mary help me it pick her up and put her on my knees and then I can cuddle her and pet her. I could pet her all day! LOL. And I feel she understands me in one most important aspect of actually our both existence. She just like me has very sensitive, delicate body, easy to hurt, is small and need people to help her in casual situations like moving from up level down level (from table, where she's got her cages to the carpet and tunnel for floor time),finding, drinking, keeping her safe. I am a disabled person. I was born with an overflowing by years complicated illness call cerebral palsy. Who attack whole body and don't let control it. Especially at muscle parts like legs , spine, arms, eyes , neck or for example lungs. So unfortunately I have much problem with do many( for healthy people obvious )things like walking,,breathing, moving, getting down on my knees or raise up etc. So I am fully depends on people who help I always need. So we are almost the same.LOL! And that's why I love animals so much and have very special bond with my piggies. Including Surprise. She loves me like any human. I am thankful her for it so....much. God Bless the guinea pigs!.

I don't like loud noises and sudden situations too. So I understand it perfectly. And I believe they understand me. Especially my now only live on Earth BFFF( Best Furry Friend Forever) guinea girl Abyssinian girl Surprise. Despite I miss so much and remember generally my 7 lost guinea pigs' Best Friends ( that's a long story) I Surprise to die. Literally. I thank God every day that He still let her be in this World with me( She's almost 5 now). ❤😊
