Une pure merveille !
She has to be the GREATEST performer of Hungarian Rhapsody No 2 EVER. Don't even know if Liszt could do it as good!
Tiffany Poon is amazing! How many Liszt's are alive today writing masterpieces like this? Has the population been mentally and physically damaged so much as to not have the capacity to produce such great works as this? Let's stop the poisoning and see what potential humans have.
I agree, a great performance of this wonderful composiiton. The quality of the piano itself enhanced the dramatic playing.
Theorem: Every performance on RUclips of a given work by a given mature performer is adjudged by at least one viewer to be the best performance of that work. This performance would obviously be hard to beat but what I particularly like about the video is that it doesn’t switch mindlessly between different views of the pianist and/or the piano. Rather, it reflects what we would hope to see as a member of the live audience, I.e., focused steadily on the pianist, her hands, and the keyboard. I don’t need or even want to see head-on views of the pianist with every facial nuance they might care to express during the performance.
Pishem vsyo publichno please... Nyam nyam
#Iris.
Asian en brnum.
👏👏👏👏👏
Really good. And playing on a Faz piano! I thought it sounded especially good.
Bravissima!!!!!
Dang, I'm worn out just watching! Incredible performance, thank you.
ok, she Is good, but Liszt vas virtuoso, this would be up tempo, in any case I saw many pianists from Asia with great technique , but she gets the subtle changes in pianissimo and fortissimo , still way to go to the Ciffra's level , he played this absolutely gorgeous, and Lisitsa who nowadays goes close to the tempo Liszt would like. BTW at some phraseses this is even incorrect
Well, friends, this devotee of piano music would dare say YES she Is gifted, too. Because: a lifetime commitment of hard work, concentration, analysis and memorization will not produce a phenomenal interpretive work of beauty like this lady presents without great talent and even, yes, a corresponding form of genius. (And, if i correctly recall from a past interview - she also does place a priority on heroic emotional involvement in her interpretations.🔥
what a genuisity...
Stunning rendition!
Thank you from Hungary! This is the most Hungarian version I have listened to.
golly.
Bravo, bravo ,bravo Tiffany Poon from Poland
whatever she does, its the best version - scary good!
Bravíssimo 👏👏👏
I can't express that kind of passion
As a Hungarian American, I think she plays it with great authenticity and powerful emotional transcription! Gyǒnyõ rũ!
❤❤❤❤❤
ain't this tom and jerry song HAHAHHA i cant take this seriously
difficulty: Asian.
Tom and Jerry, jejejej, the cat concerto. I knew this piece because of that episode and I really liked the music.
Most thought provoking performance, i literally got goose bumps when it reaches the high notes, as if voices of angels calling for reverence of humanity.❤
-_-
Austanding
I wish I were that piano...
You probably won't see this comment, but I just watched this video again for the umpteenth time. Your playing is just wonderful. Well done!!
Tiffany is a fabulous storyteller! Wow!
Ouch! at 8:09. Just a little boo boo.. Other than that one thing it was spectacular.
but who was the greatest, jakob gimpel or yannie tan?
When I first met this video, I listened to it four times in a row.. Excuse me, now FIVE! :)
The first section of this piece, free from the rhapsodical part, is simply divine piano music at its most pure. Well played Tiffany Poon.
EPOUSTOUFLANT... 🍀
How on earth did this happened? She plays this piece better than a lot of brazileans perfomers... wonderfull!!
One of the best interpretation of this masterpiece
Inigualable Barrios!
Maravilhosa! Maravilhosa!
one of her best
this is my stress free music
Why this lady played it so gracefully? Mine was like galloping horse everytime i do the tremolomm😂
