Did you plug the fans back in? I wouldn’t see why it would get that hot that quick unless something was connected correctly.

I would only take the fans out if it’s really dirty. Canned air or an air duster would be able to blow most the dirt free.

I wouldn’t mess with those. 😂

Well that’s the risk, but I really haven’t been told my advice has bricked their laptop. So I guess I gave good advice then.

I didn’t the first couple times but people in the comments said I should unplug it. I didn’t have any issues though.

For the flickering issue, I would try updating the graphics drivers then reboot your laptop to see if that fixes your issue.

@@MrDarkcore I don't want to remove the cooler from cpu cuz then I think I'll have to apply new paste on cpu which I don't have currently. I can see there is a lot of dust behind the fans, on heat sink.

You may have to buy an assortment set of spacers to find the right one. That’s all I can think of at the moment.

I would try rebooting to see if you get the same prompt again. If you don’t, I would say you’re in the clear. If you do, let me know.

I would just check to make sure the cables are pushed in all the way for the fans. Maybe let the laptop run for a couple minutes to see if the fans kick on. It could be your fan curve settings are high.

It’s a vinyl sticker so it peels off pretty easily. 😂

Did you reconnect the battery after working on it? I would make sure the connector is pushed in all the way. It could be loose.

I would only do it if you noticed a lack of performance or you can see a lot of dust build up. I would also see if you can find a video of your laptop being torn down so you could have an idea what to expect. If you don’t feel comfortable with doing it, then I would go to a repair shop for a cleaning.

Try holding the power button down for like 20-30 seconds while not plugged it. See if that get the laptop to but on.

Well if they are really dirty or have debris stuck in them it’s probably why they would be loud.

Pretty sure you just remove the cmos battery while the laptop is unplugged as well as the battery. That should reset that error code.

@@MrDarkcoreThank you! The error message didn‘t appear again after I restarted it. But if it appears again, I will try this. I saw a reddit user saying that everytime the CMOS (mine is integrated in my main battery that I unplugged) gets unplugged it shows this error after the first start because it resets itself with HP laptops. That would explain why it happened I guess. Not sure if you can confirm this.

Did it recently just start making that noise?

Could be debris that was pulled into the fan or maybe the fans are going bad.

@@MrDarkcore oh no just bought it two years ago and it was super expensive i dont want to replace the laptop can i just replace my fan or something?

All I can say is just take your time and don’t rush. If you do that can lead to problems.

I am just glad you found it useful. Also I agree with it shouldn’t be so hard cleaning electronics.

How did you do the cable ties? If you have them around both the metal bars per arm it won’t move.

It's around one of the bars but it's not flexible even without the mic and cables

@@carolrodriguez9160 well it should have some resistance to hold the mic up. It’s more put it in a position and leave other then rotation/swing can change.

It’s the same as obs just more demanding on pc.

I would just take a pic of them for reference if needed, then peel them off. I wouldn’t want a sticker to be sucked into the fan. Could cause some damage down the road.
