This mix is dedicated to the memory of Sinéad O'Connor, Chris Cornell and Prince.
This was a big remix project. First I ripped apart the Sinead and Cornell versions into separate vocal and various instrumental layers. Then I remastered the original version.
Then I changed Chris Cornell's voice from the live version, to sound more like his years in Soundgarden, with a higher pitch and change to the formants and intonation.
Then I had to arrange the vocals to work together like t hey were singing a duet in the studio. That was a task. The live performance had a loosey goosey timing and the vocals had different arrangements in parts. So lining everything up, and changing length of words and oth...
