Hi man, congratulations on the awesome piece! i was also lucky enough to get my dream piece (although certainly not as hard as batgirl, it was the 126334 41mm datejust fluted, jubilee blue dial) in only 3 days, can you believe that?!?! it was in February 2022 as well, so at the peak of the watch market hype. i honestly don't know how i got so lucky (especially it being a blue dial). I would say getting a batgirl in 2 months is probably a harder feat, but i just can't believe i got my datejust blue dial in only 3 days, also with no prior history!!!

Got my first Rolex from an AD in February last year and been waiting for over a year for another time piece. It has also been a few years since my brother got a watch from a local Texas AD. He walked in to an out of state store and got a call for a new release olive dial presidential followed by a panda steel daytona a few weeks later. I need another watch and to get lucky! Batgirl is on my list too

Is buying from a Rolex store less expensive than these gray market Rolex's? I am looking for a Batgirl (to treat myself for my retirement from FDNY 27yrs in Manhattan). Online retailers want 17-20K.. I have a similar story. I went into the AD just to look. I was looking at a submariner date. I started a conversation with my sales rep. I found out he lives in the next town over from me. I also found out we have similar political views. He gave me his card. I texted him a couple of weeks later and I told him I was interested in the Batgirl. That was on a Wednesday. Three days later I get a call from him asking if I wanted the Batgirl. When I went to pick up my Batgirl, he also brought out the sub. Of course I took the Batgirl. A couple of months later I texted him on a Saturday afternoon about a 36mm Datejust for my wife. The next morning he said to come pick it up. We have become great friends. He even took my wife and me to the 2022 US Open semi finals in the Rolex suite. GREAT time!!! I’m the type of person who talks to everyone. I’m always kind. I believe in treating people the way you want to be treated. In this situation it really paid off for me.

This is all very true. Building the relationship, being honest, upfront and just simply being kind is what works. I have a similar story but obtained a Sub Date w/ Green Bezel aka Starbucks this way. Mine took about 7 months from my initial contact with the AD but only popped in a couple times before my SA called me last week. Congrats on a cool timepiece

Congrats. I picked up my first GMT Master II (albeit the steel and yellow gold version on a Jubilee bracelet) from the AD around the time when you made this video. It was readily available to buy from the AD window here in the UK but I have been registered for the Pepsi too with the same AD having built up a good sales history.

Congratulations! I had a similar story a couple years back with my acquisition of my Pepsi and ever since I shared my story, no one ever believes me. I give the same advice to be genuine with the right intentions on why you are buying a specific model. Once the AD senses that you are basically not a reseller, it’s all yours. Wear your Batman in good health! 🎉

When I graduated from high school, my mom had a little party for me. I don’t recall getting a gift or expecting one. By the time I graduated from high school, I didn’t have a need for my mom to give me things. My father died when I was 11, 7 years later, I simply wanted my mom to have less to worry about.

I love Rolex watches I have a day date and a GMT but the yacht master and sky dweller are definitely my least favorite watches from Rolex. But that is a beautiful piece man every one has a unique taste plus I can appreciated the craftsmanship of any piece

When I walked in All the salespeople were busy and I happen to be looking around when I was greeted by a woman which happens to be the assistant manager. We had our little conversation, explaining what I wanted and it was going to be a gift for my 30th birthday. I was offered an opportunity to purchase the root beer GMT. Not sure if you have been on top of the market shift in the last 12 months or so, but demand has been down for Rolex as the economy takes a hit. Another factor is that Rolex is actually producing more models. They have changed their tune to how they somewhat used to be prior to 2017. They’re starting to Give decent to good customer service and many of the AD’s are less arrogant and indifferent. There’s many examples now of people with no purchase history getting the watch that they wanted in several months or less time. I have several acquaintances that are in the gray market and even they have told me that they are paying much less money for quite a few of the models that used to fetch premium.

You go in, you don't be an asshole, you don't brag about your watch hustlin', you buy a watch. That simple.
