Hey Sis, I really struggling with those time-management lessons with the little one...every morning, evening and night😭😓 What language is the word amagwiya? Yeah, I should allow myself some grace to adapt to a new routine. This is a marathon after all! Although the 'rest' tends to come with some guilt.

@@ManoeuveringMidlife it takes time with these little ones 😊 Amagwinya is an isiZulu word which is my home language, but they are called the same in other tribal languages as well

Hey Sis, yes. In the interview video, the lady is able to make it both light and serious. I think it takes a lot of courage to own up to one's own mistakes and to use that as a life lesson for others by sharing. I wish I had that kind of courage.

And where do you get them? 🤔 Re: odour, yes I really do need to get checked. The fact that I'm broadcasting it...it's definitely a matter of concern for me. Thank you for this! 🙏

I use the ones with the bamboo covers (ikea) or reusable silicon covers (amazon).

@@ManoeuveringMidlife sometimes when you have been verbally abused alot or any other form of abuse ad you get used to it ,then one day you realize its ot ok anymore.,because you have realised the difference and finally you can make and chose how to be treated.

@@maddemadetv445 💯Unfortunately, a lot of people don't get to the turn-around point. They remain stuck in the abuse. It takes a high level of self awareness or counselling to make that realization. Emotional abuse is subtle and often unrecognised.

Yes, I noticed the cutting at the early parts of the video. It's 'noise gate' on the DAW. It tends to happen when I record in a noisy environment. This time it was raining outside so the noise cancellation was extreme. It was bearable when I turned off the 'noise gate' in the rest of the voice over. Thanks for helping with the feedback, I truly appreciate it🙏

I wish I had been more courageous and believed in myself more, as I feel like I missed out on opportunities that could have shaped my life differently. Now, I'm working on building my confidence and pursuing my dreams, even if it's later than I hoped.

@@theatienor I feel you 💯... As someone in my mid-40s, I’ve learned that self-doubt is a common hurdle we all face, but it doesn’t have to hold you back. It's good that you believe in your potential and are starting to take steps towards your dreams every day. Surround yourself with supportive people who lift you up and remind you of your worth. STAY CLEAR OF THOSE THAT ALWAYS DISCOURAGE YOU. They are not visionaries, they are DREAM-K!LL3RS. Be kind to yourself and watch your confidence grow with each step you take. You've got this!🤗

@@ManoeuveringMidlife my biggest regret is honestly staying too long in a bad situation that never served me,am still here imagine such a shame ,another one of my greatest regrets is i should have persued my dreams now i just imagine them in my mind,but am working on my life i believe its not too late.

@@maddemadetv445 Sending you hugs 🤗 my dear! The fear of the unknown makes it harder to get out of a bad situation. I wish you courage. I am here with you, pursuing my dreams at mid-40s. I believe you can, too. Start by taking small manageable steps. If you can still visualize yourself actually achieving your dreams (no matter how big), then you're halfway there. And please guard and keep them private because there are people (even close relatives) who will always plant doubt, because it is human nature to fear the unknown. xoxo

Thanks 🙏for the tip on the electric plate. That's encouraging to know, coz my water didn't get to boil. I watched that BBC Africa docu when it came out. It's heavy and deeply disturbing. One of the issues being sought by the protestors is the arrest of all public officials with a criminal 'record', even those with allegations. So far, no one has been taken to court. Honestly, I had despaired but now I really want to be hopeful for the future of our country.
