I have found seated Tabata HIIT classes that I love! I do them during the last hour of work while sitting at my desk (I work from home). I have a bad knee so the seated HIIT is great....And I have found I can burn 300-500 calories during a 50 minute session...I alternate those with 2 days of weights (30ish minutes). It is fun and easy, and I just feel better overall after getting some activity in.

Thank you for the great tips Justin! I have a few hand weights to exercise with, my bicycle is set up on a trainer, has been for awhile, but… Is in the basement. My least favorite place in this house. I love walking out doors, but have not done much this year. Lots of smoke from Canada and from our own forests. It’s tough to walk outdoors and breath smoke. I know there are walking apps I can use on the tv, but my intention gap is as wide as the Grand Canyon! 😮 I’ve even thought about a walking mat. Soon I’ll get to go to a gym thru Medicare. Just hope I rein in that intention gap and actually get excited to use what’s available! Thank you again!

This was very helpful. I unconsciously do some of these things, but I wasn't sure if it was a good way to handle lower levels of motivation. For example, I set up reminders in my phone with links to my strength training routines. It reminds me to do that set of exercises that day. If I get started, then I will finish. And I track my exercises on my smartwatch. With longer exercise sessions like walking outdoors, sometimes it's hard to get out the door. And it's easy to get derailed by family members. Getting out to my gym (which is in my neighborhood, a few short blocks away) is much harder. It's probably the hardest to get motivated to do. Any suggestions?

Hi! I noticed that the format changed on the fitness page to just show the video instead written out instruction. I really love watching your initial walk through and then doing the last 2 sets on my own without video instruction, but to do that I need the written instructions too! Maybe add them to the description of the videos? Thanks! I've been doing your workouts for several months now!

Hey yes but i wouldn’t do it mon through Friday for example. Maybe do mon and Tuesday then Thursday Saturday for example.
