Your idea for turning the goal breakdown section into a bingo card is genius! I was at a loss for how to use that page but now I am going to try that out!

I love that sticker kit! It's so cute and festive! I'm not usually a big Halloween person but I got one random Halloween sticker as a freebie with another sticker order I made back in January, and I stuck it on this week as soon as I got it, and I keep seeing it every time I flip through my planner, just waiting to become seasonally appropriate. So I've been prepared with at least one Halloween sticker for the last ten months lol

I had the same questions about that first set of trackers pages. Each day has 2 lines so I’m confused as to what it’s for since there are trackers in the quarter goals.

Great video! It's definitely an important conversation to have because so many people who share their planners have seemingly unlimited supplies and sticker kits and cute covers, but all of that stuff adds up, and it's important to know this doesn't have to be a super expensive hobby. Especially for just little tweaks like using washi tape to put stickers on your planner that don't actually affect the functionality but can make a big difference with the flexibility.

Such a good conversation, as always! I am recently retired, so I have moved on to a more intentional spending stage of life. Also, I have found that I am not enjoying the sticker sub kits as much as I used to, especially since realizing that I was spending about $420 a year for the one I had! Umm.. yikes! So, I paused the sub, and next year I will be using up (and loving) the older remaining stickers and beautiful vellums, purchasing the monthly and daily sets of stickers from Amazon for about $18 total, and then adding in any new artisan stickers that I might see during the sales. I do enjoy seeing all the new things on the socials, but it does feel like overload, and for me, it is time to ease back a bit. I do think pre- stickering all the months and daily dates at one time will help me to stay on top of daily journaling. We shall see!

I'm definitely in the saving money boat at this point. I enjoy tips for using what I have without searching for more. I love the idea of supporting the small sticker shops as well whenever my sticker stash starts running low. (That could take a lifetime though if I stay scared to just use them lol). I've also determined that I'm a one-book girly so that will definitely save me money in the course of the year. Thanks for sharing your tips!

I like using washi on stickers for planner covers that will have a clear cover over it, but at this point I have so many stickers that I enjoy using them as permanent to capture the vibe of how I was feeling that year. I have a Stickii subscription and I have started decorating journal pages based on a theme around individual sticker sheets. I'll use washi and markers that resonate with that theme. I like the idea of decorative journalling but eclectic pages don't work out well for me, so I've found this as a happy medium

I am thinking to do the same as yours next year! For the monthly I am thinking to stick the book cover to the date I finished it.

Your video was a suggestion by YT. I really enjoyed this and have subscribed as your speaking pace and ideas presented were good. I used a Sterling Ink A6 two book set this year and discovered that I don't like not having it all within one book. I loved the size and filled them both up, so now I see I really need a wee bigger planner size for 2025 so I can have some actual white space for ease of reading & finding my notes without setting off my anxiety.😂

Maybe you can use the timed vertical for logging what you did when in the day (instead of planning in it) and plan in the weekly horizontal? 🤔

This is a really good idea. My planner next year is going to be mostly the same functionally but since I'm upgrading from the N1 to A5, I'll have a lot more room, so that might take some getting used to. I do probably need to re-evaluate how I'm doing my doing my goal pages, though, because I don't go back and look at them until the month is over, so I'm not feeling inspired to continually build habits to work toward my goals. I think you can definitely get to 1k subscribers. A lot of people will be looking for planner inspiration videos as we get closer to the end of this year and the beginning of next year. I love your videos! Your voice is so soothing, I could listen to you talk all day haha. Plus we reader girlies have to stick together!

That was a good review - I've decided to slow down and just write as it comes instead of making a chore. I want to enjoy my planning! I have no idea what to do with the quarterly sections so thanks for your preview!

I'm determined to stay out of my 2025 planner until the last week of December. Who knows if my willpower will hold on that long, though? I'm not sure yet what I want to do about stickers. This year I was putting just a couple of stickers per week in my planner but they kind of ended up being more trouble than they were worth. But at the same time, I don't want to not have any colorful decoration in my planner for next year. Maybe I'll just stick with washi tape instead? idk we'll see.

I ordered... Far too many SI planners for what I'm actually going to be doing this year. I want a small one and I'm trying to figure out whether I want a passport, A6, or now pocket, and if I want to use a booklet at all and how. I've got plenty of time to figure it out though, and plenty of experience with planner indecision to get me through to Jan 1 with a full system. My current goal is to prevent myself from convincing me that I need to had some hobonichis into the mix too

I've been on functional bullet journal (the Ryder Caroll method) for years and it helped me a lot, but recently I'm getting so busy that even prepping for my already-minimal spread each month is kinda dificult, so I'm trying hobonichi now (thus why I'm here binge-watch yours and other hobo users' videos lol). With bullet journal, since mine was usually so functional, I didn't have any specific aesthetic, so my planning and brain dumping is one the same page. But I mostly do the "more structured planning" for a week on one side, and then brain dumping on the other side. Hobonichi weeks seems to have that kind of layout so I plan to use that next year with my usual bujo method. And yes, flossing and overall oral hygiene is hard. I kept failing to remind myself to brush my teeth even though I put it on habit tracker all the time. Considering most ADHDers in this comment section also struggle with that, maybe it's really ND thing. 😂

AuDHDer here. I brain dump in my notes pages because I don’t do daily pages. But if I don’t have my book, I have a note on my phone called “things to add to my planner or journal” and I have the widget that shows the most recently opened note, so I can see it and not forget to transfer it. Your system isn’t excessive, we have to do what works. Like you said, aesthetics is part of the experience for so many people. As long as it works. ❤ I’m just trying to work on oral hygiene too, it’s hard. 😅 and try to leave my new planner alone, which is probably going to be difficult 😂

I'm also planning to use a separate mental junk journal in 2025. I got a B6 lined notebook. We'll see how this goes lol

Staying with my B6 size common planner for the fourth year in a row for my every day, some sort of booklet for workouts and spending, my 5 year, a blank A5 for my very simple reading journal, a B6 for work scribbles, and potentially a blank B6 for morning pages/journalling. When I write it all down it FEELS like a lot but when I use them it feels pretty manageable

My favorite planner add-ons are the BIC 4 in 1 pens. They enable me to color code different tasks, as they relate to home, work, self-care, and projects.

My favorite planner add on: functional box stickers. They really make certain entries stand out and they're good for covering up old stuff and making space for new stuff, like extra real estate. I really, really am eyeing those dot markers because I don't want to have to hoard bullet/checklist stickers forever lol. the mini sticky notes are right up my alley, too. smol sticky notes tickle me idk why. thanks friendo

I enjoyed this video! I try to plan only functionally because that's what works with my brain but every now and then I get an itch to put stickers all over everything. So my favorite is stickers. 😆

I love b6 slim for personal planning, but other than the JibunTecho (I like the Days), there weren't a lot of options. I tried the weeks and loved it. It's really just a narrower B6 slim to me. I used Hobonichi weeks for 2 years and switched to SI N2 this year. For 2025, Im going to try the B6 slim horizontal compact. I use an A5 Take a Note for work for 2 years, but i have a lot of A5 notebooks, too. I am going to use my Hobonichi notebook and pair it with an SI A5 monthly booklet so i have the calendar. I also bought a 2023 HON that sits there but i plan to redate and use it when my B6 journal is done.

Happy Anniversary! I can't live without my stickers. I'm not a kit gal, I tend to use whatever floats my fancy at the moment. Post-its are huge for me too. As a teacher, I can never have enough post-its! I also can't plan without my multi-pen because I color code my lesson plans.

My favorite planner accessory is my Uni Jetstream pen with four colors. I don't use a ton of stickers and washi tape in my planners, but color-coding things helps it to still look pretty and visually stand out.

I think I love seeing how people use their Erin Condren, Passion Planner and Hobo, but none of them for me sadly! I get annoyed when I can’t fill all the space 😭 makes me planner look empty. I ended getting a planner similar to the b5 horizontal weekly
