This is definitely my favourite unreleased city and colour song. I wish I could find a live version or even a cover !

that couch looks like a leopard

the different outfits and switching between cameras makes me laugh now. plus the vocals are kind of whack ahaha. but oh well, this was still really fun to do from what I remember. also the original song is fire

Song gives me a feeling like no other

This version was put on a mix CD in 2008 by someone special to me and it always reminds me of her. The album version always seems off to me.

This Version is amazing!! I heard it a 10 or more years ago. The Album version is so boring...

YES! Thank you for this. I had this saved on an old, OLD computer from when it first was released. I was so bummed when I heard the album version. They took away so much of the power in the album version.

Ten years later this is still one of the most beautiful songs I have listened to.

It's the same chords as Fragile Bird (possibly and early version of it) with a capo on the 5th and his usual style of hammer-ons and pull-offs.

He's said in interviews, "I rip myself off all the time," referring to how he'll pore over his old material from years ago and try to filter/refine/augment it to make newer, better songs out of them.

I never noticed the version I listened to was the demo. I listened to the album version and it just missed that pinch of raw passion this version had.

Thanks for uploading this. I remember downloading all their demos off their website before they mastered and released their LP. I've lost them sadly. I miss listening to them because I agree, they had more passion than the mastered album versions.
