Lon Eldridge - “Kohala March” (H. Berger)
Просмотров 395Год назад
“Kohala March” was composed by Henri Berger in the late 19th century, and first recorded in 1914 by Hawaiian musicians Pale K. Lua and David K. Kaili. This is my arrangement for solo guitar, which incorporates elements of both the steel guitar and rhythm guitar parts of the 1914 recording. Great job slick picking on this bad baby!
It’s unbelievable that you don’t have comments on this. I saw your set with this one in it…you sound great man. I used to teach classical guitar a decade ago and just got into blues and found your stuff…great stuff man, jeez. Can you help me find some transcriptions of some tunes to get me started??? How do I buy an album from you?
@@bradedwards878 Thanks, friend! I’ve got music available digitally at LonEldridge.bandcamp.com and select physical media at LonEldridge.com/music As far as transcriptions, I don’t really have any, as most of my playing is fairly improvisational. But, I’m considering doing some instructional videos on my Patreon page at Patreon.com/loneldridge
Yeah!!!
Took to long to find this
Hey Lon. Really like this video. How about a video teaching me how you play it. It needs to be real slow and clear. Thanks

The Devil and Mr. Hitler are trying to make a team, The Devil and Mr. Hitler are too bashful to be seen, The Devil has horns so long and sharp and Hitler is a fiend, They are BOTH just like a snake! 🐍
Great stuff, Sir! Thanks for posting.
Hello Lon, I discovered your work through the girls from "Choro das 3". I'm Brazilian, I love music and I play guitar in a band here. I want to send you congratulations on the beautiful work you do. Hugs !!
Nice one Lon! 👍
I'll echo others and say what a wonderful rendition this is... mellow... delicate... intricate... Sure would love to see those chord shapes better so I can replicate them.
The only thing that’s cooler than your playing is your mustache. And your playing is a straight 10 outta 10 - well done, sir!!
Sounds perfect! 🤘
Good old style voice!!!
