The HP system basically acts like a scale in this regards. The star is to indicate the center, and from the center you need to deal 8 damage to win the game. I had played around with getting added effects depending on where the scale was, but from my testing, it was clunky for my tastes and made for degenerate play that wasn't fun. It is an idea I'm setting aside, like a faction that gets their effects depending on where the scale is. Not something I'm willing to add into the base game.

That could definitely be done in a later set~ I like the idea of a Chain Loop Effect

It's probably because of the big numbers, lels~ I definitely took some inspiration from Inscryption's card template, keep in mind that this isn't going to be the final card template that I'm going to go with.

Please keep in mind for these videos, all of this is just fun handmade cards for funsies and testing purposes. Final release is nowhere close to where it is right now, and the card art on my booster pack opening videos are not going to be reflective of the finished product. I will be drawing official card arts and stuffs again digitally-- so it's still up in the air how I want to present all this. If this does eventually come out as a physical card game, I would like a Common rarity for all the cards, with better/more detailed card art being of higher rarity.

Before I started this project, the youtube algorithm blessed me with a video of someone making their own tcg, and I had the bright idea of making one myself. So for the past couple weeks, i'm here now with what I gots. The game is still very much in testing, been trying to get some friends to try it out-- I will eventually get a mod of it on Tabletop Simulator. I do hope that once I finish with all the playtesting, get the cards as balanced as I can, I would love to have it printed out physically so I can have a physical version of my card game. And Cara is definitely in reference to both Today's Shy Look (Lobotomy Corporation) and Lady Cassandra O'Brien.Δ17 (Doctor Who).

When I first started this project, I just wanted to make a game where I activate card effects using chains. And started to make cards to see how that would function. Even though I said the rules were "yet to be determined", it was just things like: How many cards do I want in the deck? How many cards do I want folks to start off with? Do I want more options on the main phase? How many zones should there be? I had the main gameplay loop figured out, and by making the cards and being able to see the lines of play, it helped to narrow down all those other things and what stuffs I need to add/clarify in my rulebook. Been checking out other tcg rulebooks as well to help put those ideas into understandable words. Glad ya like the artstyle.
