    So this guy writes try to make everything ? Phil Mickelson once said in all his years in golf he has never seen an amateur line up correctly to a putt. Therefore he had to hit it off his line to make it! I’m Not sure about that but pace wins the race. If you ever saw a pros putter face , 100 percent of the wear is on the sweet spot . It’s quite uncanny really but true! A scratch golfer. Doesn’t have that wear on the face I’m Sure

    • @bobbysteinergolf
      @bobbysteinergolf Месяц назад

      That's right. And, most will never practice enough to show wear any place on their putter face, let alone the sweet spot. The tour player is to the scratch player what a scratch player is to a 12 hdcp, at least in my opinion.

    • @bobbysteinergolf
      @bobbysteinergolf Месяц назад

      You got that right, for sure. You need both to get it in, but typically only need distance to sew up a two-putt.

    I don’t get what swaying means, is this not swaying?

    • @bobbysteinergolf
      @bobbysteinergolf Месяц назад

      Chase, good question. In teaching circles a sway is generally thought of as a backswing issue in which the right hip and head "sway" to the right during the backswing. It leaves the player with the job of trying to get back before impact, and usually, with inconsistent success. To roll in on the ankles shouldn't lead to a sway. Here is the complete video, I think it provides a more complete idea of good foot action: ruclips.net/video/Fbr9kbdY4xs/видео.html

    I totally agree with your philosophy of getting the distance correct.....anytime I am within a 4' diameter circle , from 30' or more away, I am happy with my putting ...now if I could just make all my 4' putts, I 'd be ecstatic !!! lol.....thanks much
