I'm definitely in sweater mode and want to cast on all the sweaters so --- "Tessitura" is tonight, "Cardiflower" is February 1, and my KAL sweater is the "Simple Summer Top-Down V-Neck" on January 31. Plus, I want to finish spinning the last 2 ounces of a 5-ounce braid and chain ply that.

Maybe Jocelyn should sort her notions.....

I use the diagonal garter blanket as an easy baby blanket in fingering og lace wool.

Diana, if you use acid dyes, you don’t need a mordant, just vinegar. If you use plants, you do need a mordant, and an equal amount of plant matter and yarn to get nice vibrant color

My husband shopped my wish lists at Knit Picks and one of the online stamped cross stitch shops I like. I now I have enough Berroco Vintage for 9 sweaters, the new blue interchangeable needle set, and 10 new cross stitch kits to do. He also shopped Amazon for a bunch of my sugar free candies I like. New Years goals are just guidelines. Mine are to craft more, including more spinning. I have to have surgery for a hiatal hernia repair in the Spring, so will have lots of down time for knitting and stitching. Another is to keep downsizing and donating stuff I am no longer planning to use or wear

Google sheets! I have a rather epic excel document with gives me both fun stats and also judges me... I buy with intent so when i buy the thing for the thing it goes onto the sheet. I change my mind i just change the project name. But I have what items i have made, meterage for the knitting crochet projects, progress vs completed stats for sewing and embroidery, meterage, ply and technique for spinning. Trying to figure out weaving projects get tracked. On a side note, i should probably find my bingo card and see what on earth i acturally did / didn't do. but first tracking down the safe place worm hole...

I cleared out a bunch of clothes and shoes last year. Some things were never worn and still had the tags on them. My husband has a big car, and we filled the back seat and trunk to bursting twice. I have at least another carload to do, He just hasn't had time to help me with it. There are several board games, kitchen stuff and small appliances we don't use, and more clothes to go. I'm a plus size lady which I know there is a shortage of those things donated.

I started watching live but then hubby decided to "help" with the hot tub water change. So I just finished watching now. After I finished cleaning the hot tub I worked on the cast off of my Snow Wonder sweater

Not sure if this helps but since you are spinning with your left hand you may find it easier to spin your singles counterclockwise ("s" twist); it tends to be easier to roll your fingers in that direction

And this week the emotional support chicken was needed. Dang I would not have been able to do that.
