I do my best to explain how to remove the mirrors and door card on my 2015 8v Audi S3. You will need a few amount of tools but they can be bought at harbor freight or Amazon. Please feel free to ask questions.

gonna be converting the oil pan on my 18’ A3 soon. did you use only silicone gasket maker or did you have or reuse a rubber gasket as well?
Hey man, my steel oil pan kit came with a gasket/o-ring that’s labeled “oil sender gasket” so do I put this in between my oil pan and oil sensor?
You'd be correct. Make sure the old gasket is removed and the senders surface is free from old torn gasket, and then install the new one. Make sure to tighten bolts evenly by cycling them (hand tighten all bolts, kind of tighten all of em, then tighten all of them.) Use the torque specs and procedures from the actual manual for the actual best way but if you don't have that then this will work.

Convertable module is behind rear right side panel. Part number for models until 2006 is 8H0959255 and from 2006 newer 8H0959255A and i have a problem with it.
man i was worried about it but I have a cbfa 2010 Audi a3 with a metal oil pan and it now has a fist sized dent so will the uro oil pans fit I'm thinking it should since I have a first gen ea888

what size torx head to get out those oil pan bolts?
i have the same exact issue as you. if you don't mind sharing your miles, it may be a pattern with audi doing some suspicious stuff after they hit certain mileages or not serviced within certain time. -oil leak (timing chain cover, and oil pan leak, these leaks were causing electrical issues down the road for my headlight bulbs , DRL, window washer , etc.) -coolant leak (found out it was a water pump hose, repair shop said it was the water pump causing it then leaked into the thermostat. also found out that it may leak into the coolant solenoid control valve which may trigger some transmission faults in the future, get that looked at ASAP)

I had sold the 2 cars that I've done this to. One of them went to my little brother and he finds oil changes to be easy. I didn't have to worry about leaks, or giving him that plastic key, or anything like that. You thinking of making the conversion?
@@leenav9741 i am considering making the conversion for sure, i’d feel much more comfortable knowing my oil pan isn’t plastic 😂 right now my oil filler cap is actually leaking oil, so i need to find that gasket and replace it
@@armandodominguez9162 ph absolutely a must. Also, those gaskets usually come with oil filters. Mind as well do both and get a fresh oil change as well.

The rear window in the the soft top? Or your talking about in a hard top?
I meant audi A4 convertible the rear( back of the car).
@@ismael-mm8gu yeah, 2006 a4 makes more sense, but this top soft top is from an A4 because A4, S4 and RS4 are all identical when it comes to body parts. But I could try to get a video replacing the glass on the soft top in the future. Its not too bad of a job.
my roof doesn't open, I already changed the engine and it doesn't work. is there a button that may be locked?
Gotta use a scan tool. It may show that it needs a sensor
Sometimes when you hold the switch for the top to go down it will flash why its not working on the dashboard
Have you figured out the solution to your boot sensor? I have the same problem bro, if you did fix it please make another video or just let me know how you did it 🙏🏼 I haven't dropped my roof for almost 2 years because of this issue😔

On your top. When. You. Replace it. With another. Too. On the right rear in the back. You see a control body module. You replaced. The top with. Another. Too. Had to replace. One. A repair. Went. Bad. Burned the hydraulic lines. In the right rear. Have someone. Wit Audi software. Reset it. We have a channel. Audi licious. Shoukd. Have. Video. Taped. It. And you need 4 guys to LUC and. Instal. Or you will scratch the paint.
Another useful tip is if removing roof from another car.. take the struts off that lift the deck. Keep it all connected to the pump and you will get no corrosive hydraulic fluid leakage.. to take roof off of doner car, remove roof on existing car and replace took 2.5 hours. You will need a second pair of hands to lift off roof and lift new roof into place. Alignment on my refitted roof was simple. Once one bolt on each side was fitted. The roof could be manipulated to align other bolts. Thanks very much for the video as it gave me the confidence to do the job
I am going to junkyard today to pull a convertible top off an A4. How long does it take to pull? You noted I need torx, allen, 10mm (for motor). any other tools you can suggest?
tserevenad sorry for the late reply, it can take a considerable amount of time unless you have an extra set of hands. Even with that it took us about an hour and a half. I’d bring the unlocking tool for the top or a two long flat heads, also a knife. Let me know how it goes
@@leenav9741 it was a big job. Got it disconnected and perfect timing a guy wandered by who i asked for help lifting it off and onto my cart. Took 2 hours. Price $102 including everything; motor cylinders etc. I would say removal or install alone impossible without damaging something. Thanks!
