15 Sunstar Jukebox Plays Its First Record
Success! This Seeburg STD3 Sunstar plays it's first record. There is a feeling of accomplishment when you fix something that has been broken for many years.
I was surprised at the clear sound quality from the SHP1 Amp with original capacitors AND coming from the oily dirty utah woofer speakers. Cleaning the gunk off of the needle / stylus / cartridge really paid off.
Like the Tin Man in Wizard of OZ, this jukebox needs to get oil in all it's moving parts. Best way is to play both sides of many records so the mech gets a work out.
I put in records that are clean but songs I don't care about. That way if it malfunctions it will not ruin a record I like.
