I was there in the summer of 97. I did a travel assignment at Lenore Hospital. Was not a lot to there at that time. I went to the beach a few times and drove to Raleigh on the weekends off. I traveled the country as a travel nurse. I would not call the community warm and friendly.

Never worked on tobacco field but grew up eating peanuts in my soda. Good stuff 🥰

I moved to Lumberton in 2022. Got home from work. A gun fight broke out in front of my house. I called 911 twice..no one ever came. Even the cops are scared in this town. Watched a woman get stabbed as she came out of a restaurant with her kid .. There is no traffic enforcement here. Everyone drives like a-holes and your not even safe at a highchool football game. Lumberton and Robinson County is a dump. Over 60 murders in 2023. Great area...not.

Used to be a great place. I moved to the city next over. Fayetteville has gone completely downhill since city counsel caved into BLM. They allowed the distruction of downtown, and let them paint "Black Lives Matter" painted around the roundabout even though black businesses were affected. No one likes to go downtown anymore and it used to be such a beautiful place. Fayetteville cleans up crime areas ONLY during elections.

Lumberton has not much there. It has a lot to do with crime & flood. I left Lumberton in 2012. I still go to Lumberton my family is still there., even if crime is around . People can't move away like that. It is what it is.😮😊
