Wladimir Krutow, Igor Larionow und Sergej Makarow zusammen mit den Verteidigern Wjatscheslaw Fetissow und Alexei Kassatonow waren für mich die beste erste Reihe aller Zeiten. Auch wenn wir Deutschen bei jeder WM haushoch verloren haben, war es immer wieder eine Augenweide diesen begnadeten Eishockeystars zuzusehen. Danke für dieses schöne Andenken.

If so, to me as a more independant source than most fans over here (Dutch) think your uncle is the best player ever on a hockey pitch. We in The Netherlands were routing for the USSR in the Olympics when it came to hockey. Modest, nice players. Krutov (RIP), Larionov, Fetisov, Tretjak and yes, Sergei Makarov are names I cherish.
