This channel shows famous theme park rides by Disney, Universal and others recreated with Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. The majority of the objects shown in these videos are specially created as "custom scenery" with SketchUp and/or Blender, animated with xml-codes and imported into the game.

The "falling jeep scene" from the Jurassic Park attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood was one of the first items I did when I started creating custom content for Rollercoaster Tycoon back in 2014. I made a lot of mistakes back then - like modelling with way too many polygons or not using shared textures. For this release I re-did/re-textured some of the old models to make them more game-friendly and added some small details that real theme park fans may recognize.

How do you get videos working on billboards such as the video monitors in the queue?
The video monitors in this case aren't billboards, they are scenery items that come with an animated texture. I heard that rct3 billboards can show a sequence of images but i don't know if you can actually make them look like they're playing a "video".

Some stuff (like Alien) is not released, but you can find some things on parkcrafters and others as direct links in the video descriptions (like Pinocchio, Studio Set). Check out the video overview page and look for release trailers.
this is incredible. this must have been so much work to import all the animated CS. i still remember how awfully nerve wracking the whole process was of even importing simple static scenery. i would love to do something like this in planet coaster, but they only allow objects that are less than 8x8m, and importing is a nightmare due to that whole unneccessary upload procedure that takes way too much time to upload. i wish they would release an offline importer.
Thank you! Actually the whole show is only one item in the game, a flat ride you can place in your park. But yes - it was a lot of work... The things you mentioned about Planet Coaster are one of the reasons I stick to RCT3 when it comes to custom scenery...
@Theme.Park.Recreations wow this is even cooler. I wish there was an option for custom flatrides in planco. I feel altho RCT3 had so many restrictions, there was still more freedom in some way, especially because there was such a huge amount of custom scenery out there

They still have the old school studio tour at Universal Studios Hollywood, but they used it for the shuttle ride. I mean it can make people who were born in the 60s-80s think that its the same cars the studio used back then.

Hey there, would you be willing to provide a backup download of this CTR? It wasn’t available on ShyGuysWorld when we made the transfer over to ParkCrafters.
How did you get the ride audio?
Most of it was recorded for this video by voice actors / musicians.
I feel like they would have done something like the 1990 Ride if they wanted to do something like this.

Thank you for making this. I learned that this ride was classified as a tilt coaster but wasnt sure at what part the ride actually "broke off" the track. But this visual definitely helped!

This ride has the potential to be awesome. Unfortunately it breaks down too often. We even literally thought we were going to be hit by the cars behind us because of the constant malfunctions. Fortunately that was not the case. Definitely freaked out for a moment though lol.

Have you tried to do something simpler? The learning curve might be steep at the beginning (with Blender even more than with Sketchup) but once you got the basics its quite fun to bring new stuff into this "old" game....
