Hey good Video, just fyi the Eox Tonguedrum is another really strong contender for best Tonguedrum. I own two Rav Vast, 3 YW Pulsars, and 3 Kosmosky ( including the new Wave). My newest purchase is the Eox Tonguedrum and it’s phenomenal, check out nadishanas Videos of them. 👍

I have a 6in and was disappointed. I really like the low sounds of the 10 inch.

Low notes on the factory made go flat quick

Next time, please put the non-struck drum under a blanket (not undamped side-by-side the struck drum) to eliminate any sympathetic resonance while we’re trying to evaluate the tone of the struck drum alone. Likewise for the unstruck side of the double-sided drum. Thanks for the video.

Not to mention, there is a companion drum you can purchase to make the set chromatic (cover every note in the scale)... and the companion drum by itself is pentatonic which means you can play it by itself for meditation / improvisation use as well. The set gives you the ability to compose and play songs in any key on them. Other similar chromatic sets are going to cost you a ton more... Anyways, I love mine, as you can probably tell :)

just fyi, it's actually pronounced "cause-moe-sky". which is kind of cool. like cosmos and sky together.kind of a spacey vibe. :-) i own a dvutone and they make superb instruments. alexis a pro.

Very nice of you to use the A-50. You might wanna try using an USB MIDI Host with it so you can sequence it. I have been using the Lofi-12 as a sequencer for the A-50 and it works great.

I have just gotten a factory one from Amazon. I love it. I am not a musician, although I did take piano and band as a child, so I have some knowledge. But I love it despite the high notes being off. Yours actually sounds better than a lot of the cheap ones. Anyway, I learned a lot watching your video and reading through comments. I am already looking at purchasing a Panda drum, because I can get a big discount at the moment, but I am definitely putting Kosmosky on the Wishlist. If I am consistent enough and continue to enjoy it I will definitely be looking at one of these beauties in the future. And the fact that you can hang it on the wall? I love functional art! Bonus. Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

I can hear distorsion on both instruments. This is not exact science. Check out Sonic Energy instruments. They have a great sound very close to a handpan for a very decent price.

Question; Im just started learning to play but I can't see the numbers on it, can I use any stickers for the numbers? I like the sound of the cheaper one. Thanks

i sold my model cycles and got a Liven xFM instead. its much better. Cycles felt extremely limited. it forces you into a very narrow range of sounds. i thought it would get some big updates and it never did. xFm is a much better synth. the laminated paper editing overlay is extremely crappy but thats the only big complaint i have.

Woahhhhh why did the E major notes make me cry? Hearing the underside of the handmade one released some emotions from me that I totally wasn't expecting! Powerful! I will save up for an E major one. Thank you!
