HI Zac I am thinking of having this surgery. I see this is a 7 year old you tube.........do you still feel the triple arthrodesis was what you needed? Are you able to walk well and maybe even , if so desired, walk for exercise? Do you still feel the same about Dr. Royer? becky b.

I just saw your video and have a question...Are you still able to drive a car after your surgery?

I'm also a teen and I had this surgery on both feet after I lost the ability to walk after nerve damage after a heart transplant. I couldn't walk for 3 and a half years and after the surgery I had to wear cast for 10 weeks but I got them of the day before yesterday and I am now wearing splints but am walking now!! It's a good operation and I wish everyone luck who is going to have it.

Hey my name is kevin and i am 14 and o am going to the sergen next week and he will say ya or na to the sergery but ive seen 3 doctors and they all recommend triple arthrodesis soo wish me luck and hopefully i will be able to be normal like any other kid/teen

I had the operation also 5 screws and 10 weeks of not walking. I recommend yoga after you get cleared to walk in a boot.I returned back to the gym and went strong on my left side. Yoga is hard and I'm not into it but my recovery was faster. Also, DIET if you can. 10 weeks is a longtime with out working out. Wish everyone who goes through this Good Luck.. Porter

@yann306 - that's a really interesting question. I've always had pretty big feet. Depending on the type/brand of shoe, I wear a size 13 to 14.5 or so. I have bought shoes since my surgeries and still get the same size, so if there was a change I don't think it was too significant. However, now that you've asked me this, I must admit I do think my feet are a bit thinner than they used to be. Hope this helps and best of luck to you! i was that country guy.... my wife and i drove all the way from mississippi to see her in concert. my wife passed away this april along with my baby sister, in a plane crash. i'm so thankful that we were able to see tori together. thank you so much for this video so i can relive that moment.

@Fliedermous. No, I' was in the back of the theatre you can just hear it right before that country guy says " I love you" haha. Its what catalyzed the situation, I went nuts when she started playing this, truly thought this would be a jem I never got to hear live, and so flawlessly. I would have gone crazy to catch Ireland live though.
