Просмотров 4,3 тыс.3 года назад
The R107 Mercedes-Benz was produced for nearly two decades (1971-1989). It was wildly successful and cemented the SL as the ultimate status symbol. Consequently the car was featured in many films and TV shows of the time. In this video I share the details and specifications of my 1989 560SL.

Просмотров 40 тыс.3 года назад
Most people reminisce on the days BMW built it’s iconic E30 3-series, however the BMW E21 that came before it is truly an underrated classic. In this video I give a walkaround and tour of my 1981 BMW 320i and give my input on why the E21 isn’t as sought after as it’s successor. Sold on August 14th 2021.

my w202 is from 1999 and when i push the trunk popper it pops but doesnt go up like his any idea why
The sun roof can also raise up in the back when it’s otherwise closed.
This car is the best class c ever made until today
These ugly US bumpers are really letting it down.
I owned a C230 kompressor, automatic and in a perfect condition. Running on 258,000km, I have been driving it for 3 years smoothly without any serious issues. But just recently I started considering the Peugeot 406. Is it a wise decision to swap my Benz to the 406. Advice needed AsAP.
I have w 202 200 cdi 1999 in good condition, solved all rust, 300000 km
I had one this back in the day. I feel like I didn’t appreciate it enough. Good car.
Love the US Spec appearance, prefer it to the European version, just one correction to a comment you made, on Euro cars the rear number plate was not between the rear lights but under the rear bumper
In Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 I've owned my first Mercedes W123 300D, my 2nd was 190E, my 3rd was W202 250D, and last was W124 250D I left it home. Now in UK I'm buying Mercedes W202 250D and will put monoblock mag, this is the best car guys. Fuel saver, Built to last.❤❤❤
Yes agree but there's one problem with them all rust
Is it good to have a single wiper? It's the only thing I dont like in this car
Brittany Village
Lovely
The number plate was always under the rear bumper on European models and that black plastic serrated piece between the rear lights was just left blank like that with just the bootlid (trunk) keyhole in the top middle. I loved that design feature.
Hola Sres..... MARAVILLOSO. Matriculado nuevo en marzo del año 2000. Saludos desde el puerto de Mahon España 🇪🇸.
Things is lose instantly upon owner ship is the steering wheel and shifter knob in favor of the OEM steering wheel and shifter. A roof rack would be a definite no!. Only fanboys install them … oh and French style headlights. Which even France got rid off. But fanboys still have a hard on for that junk
Thanks Dad!!❤❤❤
I had a 1979 e21 316 when I was stationed in the Netherlands. Loved that car. 1.6 litre 4-speed manual.
I have been hunting for 2000 c class
In 1980 I paid around $12,000 for mine and all my friends thought I was nuts. Then they drove it. A bunch of people I knew had the 320 and all of them had numerous mechanical problems. In 165,000 miles, one clutch. Then I schmucked it into a guardrail at some moronic speed. Bye Beemer.
The mercedes W115/114 was the very first C-class and after that model the W201 - 190 came. They were not offical named ''C'' but they count as the real first ones
The E21 is a lovely machine, whichever engine it has. For its time it was solid, swift and a hoot to drive. It was somehow reinventing a niche on the market. A Triumph Vitesse for the late 70s. As to the rear plate, in Europe is lived/lives beneath the bumper. The bumper has a shaped lower edge to make room for the plate. The ridged plastic panel between the lamp clusters was a styling feature common in that era. Nice video of a nice car.
These things are built like tanks. I had to change the water pump yesterday, 30 years after it was made.
Iconic.Definitely a future classic
I have an w202 c230 krompressor for 4 years now ans it my daly drive car. I will never ever sell it. Its have 300 000km on it. The only problem is the rust
love this car
.
The best ever!!! Very strong
Had a white '77.
Please is this car still available
bro I will give you 7 k dollars cash for the benz if you are interested
i'm still owned C 180 1995 Manual Grey Blue. masterpiece. proud to drive that master piece
Bumpers like benches LOL 🤣
So nice
Handy little tip - to turn the light in the trunk off you pull the grey sensor that sticks down and it clicks and the light turns off
awesome car
I just can’t watch that front bumper sticking out like that, and obviously not in the original design, but probably because of Californian laws. We have the car in Australia too, with the front bumper more streamlined into the body and very nice.
The same everywhere barring the US
What is the difference between this and the 1995 c280
The 1995 C280 is an inline 6 cylinder M104 , this one is 4 cylinder M111.
@@OmarOsman-j1v oh ok thanks for the response.
Very nice example. Back in '81, I really considered buying one of these. Would up getting a Chevy K-10 short bed 4WD pickup instead. 🤪
The first car I bought was a charcoal gray 1978 320i….beloved, and would buy it again.
Do you have it in estate
Hello, is it still available?
Keyless entry? More like remote lock/unlock.
Great video. I had a Metallic silver 1997 C200 W202 for 15 years with great reliability that may be as good as W123. I only upgrade it when a good offer came about with a new E200 W212.
Great video. The E21 started the BMW growth phenomena. The E30, very popular in UK, took that to greater heights. I did have both an E21 and E30. The E21 is very special car.
“Two thousand and two”......not......”Two double 0 two”. Your naming would make any BMW aficionado cringe.
Grandma has had two of these W202's. A 2000 C280 in silver like this one, and, A 2000 C240 Kompressor in tan.
It was in mint condition, you changed the rims from a Turbo II cab ?
looks great with the shiny wheels on!
How does the handling compare with a 2002?
