Sharing my running experiences with all to enjoy and use as motivation for their at home exercises on a treadmill, elliptical, or bike. Most runs are in and around the San Diego, CA area but also include runs I do during my travels.

HBd to me! For my birthday this year we took a trip up California's Central Coast. This is part 2 of the Cambria runs. Starting off from the quaint Cambria Shores Inn and quickly joining the Moonstone Beach Boardwalk, this 2.5 mile run first heads north to Leffingwell Creek and heads back further south till hitting Santa Rosa Creek, from there we head back up north running on the Moonstone Beach. After my run I took a dip in the ocean with the surfers, surprisingly not too cold. What a way to start the birthday.

That's a great route! So much exploring to be done at Griffith Park. I'm curious, what did you use to put your stats on screen like that? It's a very nice addition!
Thanks for watching, yeah it's a great trail and everyone should check out if in the area. I use a free older software called VIRB edit by Garmin for the overlays. It's a good program but it's lacking support.

Hey, great video. I am currently training to be able to run up this mountain without stopping. I am training at 12% grade on the treadmill and every Sunday I’ll run this mountain. any tips for me?
Hey, awesome to hear you're training to run the actual trail. I would say to keep a steady pace you're comfortable with, don't overexert yourself, and listen to your body and your breathing. 1.5 miles isn't that long on a flat run but this is a steady climb the whole time. For motivation, just remember the views at the top are worth it. Spend some time up there to take it in before heading back down. It sounds like your doing some good training, I'm sure you'll do great! Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it. I currently use the DJI Pocket 2 for recording. It's petty solid and reliable for these runs but will soon upgrade to 360° camera for wider viewing angle. Still in the testing phase with that though.
