no, i ended up manually placing and moving the flare every 20 frames or so for each section. i know, max2009 looks pretty sweet! im working on some new stuff,. but takes alot longer than you first imagined. Im doing an animated CG van helsing movie extended ending, and im working on a further Shaun of the Dead character animation and soon after a Hot Fuzz one to keep in with the theme. Then im hoping to continue my Guardian Angel project...

Thanks for reply! How does Premiere decide where to put the flare, then? Do you manually keyframe it? Btw, 3d Max 2009 has now added a lens flare to the MR Glare output shader. It's working really well with HDRi lighting/reflections.

sorry for the delay, 4 months delay!! been well busy. erm, if i remember rightly that was a filter added during the Adobe Premiere stage when I was putting the final touches to it all. :)

I can see you're experienced with HDRi lighting. Could you tell me how to make the lens flare from the sun in 3d max? Or do you add that one in after effects? Thanks, nice reel!
