Eating habits (small breakfast, lunch, small merienda then dinner) It's not about economy. We've been a rich country before the late crisis decades of Peronism left. Letting aside people that may eat less because of poverty like anywhere else, eating habits in general is just a matter of culture. We like a cup of coffee with medialunas for breakfast, or toast, and go about with that. We then eat a strong lunch and carry it from there. Just habits.

Hmmm, toxic in Argentina with their situationships. People often say Colombianas are Toxic too, but if you actually do manage to go out with them them I feel like they get into serious relationships faster, so is it different types of drama those women cause and not necessarily these things where they are dragging out the dating process and flirting with other guys because you aren't in a "committed" yet?

One thing I found in Medellin is girls don't seem to want to give you the time of day in bars and most night clubs because they were to busy to talking to their group at whatever table they're sitting down at. infact most of the groups really don't seem to intermingle much from table to table.

I recently got back from Medellin, and I have to say, it's changed from 5 years ago. I think Wes is closer to the truth about the women there. I saw a lot of feminist attitudes, not as many women interested in going out as before, and so so manny tattoos. The women there are tatted up almost as bad as women from some of the larger US cities. Now keep in mind I said closer, I don't think Wes is 100% right, I still don't see the runaway feminism where they literally hate men and are shaving their heads like in the US, but then again that was always a more fringe element within the broader feminist culture. I suppose there's probably not as many cat ladies either. But still, I was not at all impressed with what i saw this time around. In my personal opinion I think at least as far as Medellin is concerned they're probably only 5 or 6 years behind the trends in the US.

They follow a Spanish system where all restaurants close at 1 pm and reopens at 7pm. If you are hungry you need to settle with bakeries for a small snack.

I generally agree, but one key thing you are disregarding is how time rich you are. Most dudes who are digital nomads in Medellin, for example, work from 8 - 6, and by the time their day is over it is basically night time. They don't have the luxury to walk around the city during the day with no responsiblity and talk to a ton of girls except on weekends, but even then, they are playing catch up and trying to maximize use of their time by not walking in circles lol. That basically forces them to either go out at night or, use apps. I wish I had more time, because you are right in that these cities are all gold mines during the day for opportunities, but at night, things change in most places. That is one challenge I had in Medellin. Didn't wanna use tinder, but also, didn't wanna meet girls at bars either.

Im an Aussie living in Salta, ive been here 6 months so far, 16/nov 2024 today. During this 6 months ive met some very nice families, i live in a basic hotel room for 260,000 ars per month. I use an English bank account and usually send myself cash using Western Union, The only problem i have is the exchange rate has been going down every day, When i got here i was getting 1685ars per £1, which was very good, today its 1440ars per £1 and still going down. Banks are terrible to withdraw cash from, 40,000/50,000ars maximum per transaction which each transaction fee is just over 10,000ars using an international card, Hope this info will help someone. I have been living in Colombia for more than 5 years, and I find it difficult to judge a country after just 6 months living there. All of these things are a bit superficial and honestly do not reflect the real Colombia.

Interesting insight. I traveled to many Latin American countries. I both used online and offline ways of meeting girls. Honestly many cities on the continent are not really pedastrian friendy and thus "daygame" as some call it wasn't that great. Buenos Aires and Rio de Janerio were exceptions. On the flipside, in these places online was the worst for me. Yet, in places were the situation for the walker was bad, due to traffic, crime, poor roods, crappy city lay-out online was better. Tinder barely got me results, on Bumble I personally did much better.

As an Argentinian.... All this seems pretty off, are we sure he's in Argentina? But I guess I'm not a yankee so my experience as a local is very different than his.
