Can’t wait to try the Argentinian beef as I have heard good things. I’m Aussie so we don’t get Argentinian beef as we have our own world renowned beef which means I have very high standards when it comes to beef.
You have to know the gringos towns from the Pampas, like Esperanza or Aldea Brasilera. We even have a jewish town called Moises Ville.
The concept of ethnicity is quite complex, but I think there is something that is transmitted from generation to generation regardless of where you are born. For example, I have noticed that some older people in Germany make the same gestures when they express themselves as older people of German descent in Argentina, even though many of them do not even speak German, there is something that continues to be transmitted in the genes in a certain way. The and nobody talks about those things. I find it amazing. The same with Italian descendants. But I am more surprised by the case of the Germans since they are a very distant generation born in a completely different country and those ways of gesturing, walking, expressing themselves, are still quite intact.
9:19 isn't Córdoba in America?
Wat
Otra vez?? Soy argentino y cuando los gringos dicen "America" en inglés se refieren a EEUU. Basta con la misma zaraza.
@@JakeRunnels Many latinos get offended when gringos say "America" when refering to the USA. I don´t get why it´s such a big issue for them.🙄 I´m Argentine and I don´t mind at all. It´s Ok with me. Of course, Córdoba is also in the Americas. It´s in South America. Welcome to Argentina, Jake!
@@greenbelly2008💯But then when you refer to a black guy here in southamerica as african-american they say it's wrong too 🤣🤣
@@FrickinCCDeVileV I have no idea. There are brown (mestizo), coloured (Anya Taylor-Joy ´s skin color) and Chinese ppl where I live. Once I met a black gringo who came to my city to play basketball for a local sports club. There might be black ppl here I haven´t met yet.

As much as I love Argentina I spent 5 weeks in Cordoba and I will not return. Versus Buenos Aires the quality of life is much lower in my opinion. I do not see any point in going there unless you visit the Sierras. I went in October last year. Air pollution was bad. Hot in the day, cold at night. Stores often closed all day due to shortage of supplies. Only one street in the whole city to change dollars and it with an Arbolito, not a cambio shop so safety is an issue. Food was not fresh. Gyms were terrible and open only a few hours a day. I stayed in a "nice" neighborhood in a new high story building but we kept losing power and water. . Finally public transportation is awful and rideshare wait times were sometimes extremely long. The only positives were slightly lower prices, and very nice people (i speak spanish). The place was a huge downgrade from any area in Buenos Aires I have stayed in but I hope others have a better experience than me!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Which neighborhood did you stay in?
@@JakeRunnels Alta Cordoba and General Paz. I should have mentioned I work remotely so all the disruption and inefficiency made this cheap destination quite expensive in my case. If you are just gong for a long weekend I think it would be much more tolerable.
@DaveG-qd6ug interesting. I didn’t not have many of the inconveniences you experienced but yes the hours of things for sure. Also you’re right some of the gyms didn’t have the best AC during the summer lol. Luckily I had found a quiet spot.
Yeah maybe I just had a streak of bad luck. Overall Argentina has treated me very well. I am looking forward to see how Rosario stacks up in Dec.
@DaveG-qd6ug haha i stopped through Rosario, if you thought cordoba was rough around the edges you might not like Rosario. But shoot me a dm on ig sometime if you haven’t already.

Awesome Video, I think the worry about places becoming "oversaturated" is misplaced. It would truly take a lot of over tourism to ruin a place. I was in Manizales 2 years ago for 3 months and while there are some videos on RUclips it definitely isnt "over touristed" and according to my friends there it still isnt. Social media can provide a distorted vision of how many people are ACTUALLY traveling to these parts of the world. Statistically it's probably very few. Medellín is the only place in Colombia I would truly call oversaturated.
Very very well put

If you feel the need to have to travel in order to meet girls then the problem isn’t the location, the problem is you brother haha.
Low IQ comment. You travel because you enjoy traveling, the girls come naturally as you meet people while traveling.
@@JakeRunnels So your focus of traveling isn’t the girls, yet you decided to make a video about traveling and dating apps, right got it. Smart guy
@TheWorkshop190 you don’t travel? You wouldn’t date while you’re traveling? I think your smoke detector is chirping.
@@JakeRunnels Dating would not be the reason why I travel but there’s nothing wrong with it if you want to do it.
@TheWorkshop190 right, but no one was saying it should or ought to be the reason why. It’s kind of irrelevant, I don’t really care why someone travels.

If you’re fat, short, ugly, old, using pick up artist techniques and #cold approaching is not gonna work but like Wayne Gretzky says you miss 100% of every shot you don’t take! * The real key is working on yourself first! Improving your looks, fitness, finances, interpersonal skills. Lots of free content on RUclips to help develop all of these and if you do, your cold approaches Jake employs will realize success.! 💯
As a puertorrican with american citizenship but of a really complex and mixed latino/spanish heritage I think this was a really interesting and well informed. Don't know why people are throwing a bit of shade your way as if this wasn't talked about in other countries and only a topic in the US. Good video overall.
I just left latin amarica and went to malaga, spain. Best decision I have made 😂
Why
🤔 I think Argentina has the most to offer overall.
I think this is maybe the best video about meeting girls while traveling and dating overall. Thanks for that!
And yes, you’re talking about exactly what the pick up artist coaches would do with students, practicing #ColdApproaches over and over until they get success and they get comfortable with rejection. It’s akin to public speaking, very uncomfortable for most at first, but with practice, it becomes easier! We all know that guy who creeps on every pretty girl with no shame, and every now and then he gets lucky! ColdApproaches. #PicUpArtistCoaches
Yes, I’m sure it works but just the word “cold approach” goes with the old pick up artist culture. It’s a premeditated “stalk usually with a script. If you use it on every girl, you see that you “want” it becomes cringe …but I know it’s a Numbers game and even though all the pick up artists are basically gone.. because of their conduct is definitely not supported by the M2 feminist voices and woke who seem to have a big hand in RUclips. . They would call it pure misogyny and manipulation for SE# You could always tell the guys who use it by the vocabulary like #ColdApproach. You can look up the pick up artist MYSTERY he kind of started it and its still lingering …whether you call it cold approach or you’re just that guy who talks to every girl he wants to get, It’s a Numbers game and fortune always favors the bold!
I’m in Latin America but my Spanish is not good, I’m learning but still a ways from being conversational. What should I do?

No, Portugal and Spain are not "racists" or whatever iluminist lies, cause we didn't kill the native americans or left them in zoological reserves like the english colonizers in US or the Bengal Hunger from India. And this racial classification from Francis Galton, Spencer and Charles Darwin are outdated and even leftist, cause Hitler was indeed scientificist/socialist (similar to the socialist anabaptist quakers - Jacob Boheme). Even though slavs have a lighter scandinavian skin tone and some of them having more "caucaryan" features compared to many europeans, they aren't considered "aryan" by west european standars. So... No... there are no relations between racial features and social security or economical success, but indeed by geopolitical, cultural and religious tides. And I am from Brazil, have italian and portuguese ascendence and I think Brazil and Argentine aren't developed because of the Republic and geopolitical obstacles made by leftist politics. With the Monarchy, Brazil was way better, and even had a afro engineer and monarchist named André Rebouças. With the positivist republic, that wrong racial ideas came here. Moreover, Africa don't have a good geography and the africans was enslaved by muslins and africans themselves during centuries. Not the color of the skin itself.
1:56 correction, the state with highest murder rate is RIO GRANDE DO NORTE, in the northeast, and funny enough it's the state with more white admixture in the region.😂 But anyways I understand this video is a rage bait like all the videos you make, it's just to clarify for the people reading.
I dont think I said which state had highest murder rate just that it was in the north east.
Argentinian women often stick to their social circles, which can make connecting difficult. I noticed many hold liberal views and don’t always reflect the country’s economic struggles. Of the six women I spoke with, two were actually Venezuelans living there and more receptive then the other girls Overall, I found Uruguay to have a better atmosphere.
Just do cold approach, connecting is easy. I have not found that issue.
People trying to act like you’re racist cause you state facts.. your not mate don’t worry. Pattern recognition and life experiences form your opinions and a lot of people won’t openly agree with what you say but they are thinking the same thing. My mum is brown and my dad white so I can tell you from both perspectives that you are correct that different cultures and countries and religions have certain traits both good and bad. Only the fools act naive
This is not the best place to discuss these things, they are going to delete all the comments in favor of the video and even the likes. elon network is a better place

Latin America is a multicultural continent, but the most racist are the Argentines. They are all immigrants, grandchildren or children of German Nazis or Italian fascists who fled European justice after the Second World War. All the indigenous people in Argentina were killed by European settlers.
You are repeating lies from the traditional woke media, be grateful that you learn something today my dear ignorant friend. Our world champion is Maradona (Italian and indigenous mix) To begin with, Argentina abolished slavery before everyone else, there was never apartheid, we never sent blacks to WW1 like all of Europe did. Without blaming them, they were other times. Just to give you an overview, our first president "Rivadavia" was black, and the national hero was black, there were 100 thousand blacks who mixed with indigenous people in the provinces, you can tell by their flattened nose, was there a whitewashing plan? Yeah. There was propaganda about mixing with Europeans but that was in the 1800s!! The massacres of that time were because the Mapuche thugs (a violent ethnic group) were liquidating other peaceful indigenous clans, the same indigenous indigenous people of Argentina say, besides that more than 200 years passed, it is stupid to blame a new population, mostly Italian, that arrived in 1930. and in the ww2 we had jews and germans for equal, everybody scaping for they motives greetings and I hope you don't cry hugs!

I’ve ‘met’ people online who will introduce themselves as Canadians, but are actually Indians or Pakistanis who are studying in Canada (and usually they’ve only been there for a couple of months lol). To me, it’s completely reasonable for a person of Pakistani ancestry who was born and raised in Canada or the UK (or maybe not even born, but moved there at a young age and lived most of his life in that other country) to identify as a Canadian or British national, and introduce themselves as such. However it does seem to me that a lot of Indians/Pakistanis are actually embarrassed to be Indian/Pakistanis, or at the very least they feel like saying they are Canadian or British somehow makes them superior or feel more validated. (Which I get tbh, there’s a lot of hate and racism towards Indian/Pakistani people and their culture, but it’s still your ethnicity and your country of origin, not embracing it feels wrong to me.)
As a Mexican- American who has lived in London, it's very common for their minority populations to simply identify as "English." I think the US is very unique in putting us in subcategories like Black American, Native American, Mexican-American, Chinese-American, and then "White." It might just be for simplicity sake, but I do find it weird that you reference Argentinians in this conversation (whose family most likely have only been in Argentina for 3-4 generations). Why are we assuming that someone who looks Pakinstani isn't a 3rd or 4th gen Brit? It's almost like you're implying that the only way to identify with a nationality is by sharing the same skin tone with the majority of the population. Would you be hounding a 1st gen Brit of German descent for identifying as a Brit too? And honestly, just to piggy back on what you've been dying to say outloud and just seem to dance around..... Why are more ethnically white places in the Americas more secure? It's weird that you pulled out the Spanish caste system at the beginning of this video and instead of saying something that's honest like, "the people of color in these western countries were systematically oppressed for over 300 years and it shows", you are implying that it's simply because white people are superior. I'm not at all offended with those observations because unfortunately, that is what happens when you oppress marginalized people for centuries and keep them from obtaining jobs, homes and furthering their education. Instead, I wish that you would add some social context to this conversation and not act like this is some sort of winning chip that says "I was right. White people are superior and everyone else is a savage."
English refers to those of Anglish (Anglo-Saxon) descent which come from northern Germany / Southern Scandinavia. I’m not implying anything, but by you assuming it is due to oppression, you are implying that whites are ‘morally’ inferior no? For them to do something so obviously ‘bad’ everywhere and anywhere for hundreds or thousands of years, are whites just naturally bad in your worldview?
@@JakeRunnels Nah dude. I'm not assuming it's due to oppression, it's a fact. The caste system still exists in most of Latin America. Not in the same way but it definitely influences the way that people view each other. I need to insert like 5000 laughing emojis to properly react to your insinuation that I think "whites are naturally bad" in my worldview. No, I don't. I think the history of humanity shows that any group of people in the 1500's would've done the exact same thing that white "colonizers" did. It would beee wayyyy idealistic of me to think that the Aztecs wouldn't have wreaked havoc on any nation that they accidentally discovered, if they had been powerful enough to do so. I'm saying that historical events shape our societies and world views. We are merely by products of what came before us. In the same way that a computer wasn't spontaneously created without previous advancements, All I'm saying is it's not that hard to properly explain the historical context of a country, and why it exists as it does today. It's not racist to point that out through a historical lense, but it is questionable to do that without proper context.
no fue oprimida. vos que sos mexicano lo sabes. de por si sos descendiente de los españoles colonos. en todo latinoamerica incluso tuvimos maestros negros africanos.
Humanities is very important, dont be like Jake kids.
Propaganda subject
Nazis always attracted to Argentina 😂😂
Initially, I expected a thoughtful discussion on race in LATAM, but this video quickly went sour. You seem to suggest or leave it up in the air that race is a natural, biological concept-something long debunked by science, which views race as a social construct with no basis in genetics. Then you imply that racial differences somehow explain 'better infrastructure,' and even link criminality to certain races. When you also just straight up mention your discomfort living around black people, it's hard not to wonder where else your views might lead. Your perspective on race makes me curious about your views on other subjects-like, say, Jewish people and the Holocaust. You might not say it outright, but the patterns in your thinking are very clear.
Please cite your sources
"Something long debunked" my ass, you can classify every country from shithole to nice and from "brownish" to "whiteish" and the list will match 100% The egalitarian worldview is pure nonsense
Middle eastern look like John Rhys Davies? Rowan Atkinson also had a phenotype very diverse from the imagined angle Saxon, more Germanic like you. Also, it seems you are a bit confused about race... Your examples more match the concept of ETHNICITY. The reason people say RACE is a social construct is exactly because they are so broad as to be meaningless Irish and Italians were not considered WHITE race in the US until the early 20th century. Unless it was in the interest of the racists. Like Italians Columbus and Cabot (Giovanni Caboto) discovering the new world.
It's a social construct?
@@JakeRunnels Yup. Just like I said, Irish and Italians were considered "white" in the US. While some physical traits like skin color, facial features, or hair texture are tied to genetics, they do not correspond to meaningful biological groupings. Modern science demonstrates that there is more genetic diversity within so-called racial groups than between them. Example: Two people classified as "Black" from different parts of the world, such as Nigeria and Haiti, may be more genetically distinct from each other than from someone classified as "White." As I mentioned, your examples to justify belief in race seem to be much more aligned with concepts of ethnicity
@@JakeRunnels You see... the word likely has roots in the Latin word ratio (meaning "reason" or "account"), but there is no clear direct Latin word for "race." The word as used in Romance languages (the source of the English word race) fers to groups of people and animals with common traits. The word is used in the same sense as English BREEDS when talking about animals. Before the 19th century, "race" was used primarily to talk about groups of common descent-like families, tribes, or nations-but it wasn’t tied to biology in the way we think of today. Example: Renaissance writers might talk about a “race of kings” or “race of poets,” meaning a family line or group with a shared heritage. "Race" also referred to linguistic or cultural groups, similar to how we use "ethnicity" today, but it was not based on physical appearance or rigid categories. In earlier European history (like Roman times), a Roman might refer to the Gauls as a people or tribe (using terms like gens or nationes), but the concept of race as we know it today did not exist. Romans grouped others based on territory, culture, or language rather than anything like modern racial categories. This is why even the term "HUMAN RACE" exists... because it's a broader categorization at the level of SPECIES, while you in theory can make it more granular to the level of a tribe. Or that of a FAMILY. PS: this is something entirely different than "gender" Gender can be equivalent to sex, and sex is binary in mammals for the past 250 million years, thus it is not a social construct.
@rogeriopenna9014 i disagree with all of that pretty much
@@JakeRunnels You disagree sex is biological and binary in mammals for the last 250 million years?
Thing is, people in Latinamerica don't care about race, just about nationality. Why that could be interpreted as a bad thing escapes me
Idk if that’s true but no one said it would be bad
@@JakeRunnels ik lol. Some people just view it in a bad way and i don't get it xd Anyway, have a beer ➡🍺
