Oil 85w90 toyota better this old car man
Hello friend, my dream is to make that machine. I see it as very fun to cut and weld the metal chassis. How could it have that design? to be able to get me and assemble engines, thank you
Hola
Awesome 😂
Ahzoozoo Twouhpah
Lol same mine has a mess up water pump, can’t drive cause of heat😂
Visible car roof number please
I had lights do the same, it was the wiring from the lights, right in the back, they were aftermarket lights. Did you try that or how did this work out?
The issues resolved themselves after addressing the fuse box and fuses. Luckily it was an easy fix
Good , Very good
Better Mercedes now then before .
Car should be more level to drain the oil.
She down earth , that what I Like about her
She sounds so cute!
HOTEST WOMAN ALIVE
Ok, one major thing. Long ago mercedes came out with a bulletin saying not to use aluminum fuses. You MUST use copper fuses.
May i use valvoline full synthetic dex/merc ?
Iirc that’s what I used
😀 'PromoSM'
gret job, would work for a Merc as well, methinks
Thank you Please, is there a filter between the gas tank and the fuel pump?
Removing the relay cover before removing the fuse box cover makes it easier
Or take off the hood seal just above the cover.
Good job and potentially something that could prevent a roadside breakdown - I bet this doesn’t get done much by owners but it’s worthy of TLC - I guess it fixed your delay to the full beam you experienced beforehand and the indicator problem did it? You didn’t say ? Thx for sharing 👍
Yep- solved that problem completely. The car still had other electrical gremlins that were unfortunately more difficult
Pls more 190 rountine maintenance
Seemed like a long startup.
its always a little long when it sits for a few days - i should probably investigate the fuel system
Did you figure out the problem ?
I later changed the fuel pressure accumulator and it helped a lot. Not a full solve, but right direction for sure. Unfortunately I had to sell the car before I could get it fully sorted
Thx for video, trying to do it myself with mine 190e)
Very exciting! Good luck- you got this!
i got this))@@petrolandpizza
Having a lift makes a huge difference. Sadly, my Mercedes dealer is like 40 miles a way. Clean out differential vent?
I didn’t clean out the vent - didn’t think about much beyond a drain and fill. Probably should have. Btw- love your videos! They’ve been a huge influence
I have a 1992 190e, it just went dead on me, and when I tried to crank it, it turns over but will not start. Im guessing it is the fuel pump. Can you buy the filer and pumps as one unit?
I don’t think you can buy it as a unit, but each pump, filter, and accumulator are available. I may have put links for some in the description
It's your fuel pump relay. Only the cold start injector is working, that's why it catches and then dies immediately. Your 6 cylinder has 7 injectors, the extra is the cold start valve and that circuit is separate in the relay.
Do you rotate the engine back afterwards?
If you are doing this job in a garage make sure the water heater pilot is off for safety
The older ones are the Ultimate Driving Machines! Classic 😊
For me thanks
Very cool🫡
Old school. Beautiful car
🙃 "Promo sm"
Mine has started doing the same thing. On a 88 190e. Hope you find out what's happening and let us know if you do.
1st to the egg 🏌♂️🎆.
maybe MAS USA rele when its cold this don't happens right?
Currently happening same way when cold. When I first got the car it was hard to start when cold and easy when warm. Worked great no matter what for a few days, now constant struggle
@@petrolandpizza ok I recognise what you are saying Happened with me, my 2.6 is on GPL, but GPL workers don't understand too much of KE-Jetronic Firstly the car was good, but when you stop the car it didnt started again (I had to wait until it was cold) Then I went there and then was the oposite, the car started bad on cold but were good on warm I had to do some time like this Go to someone who knows a little about it or do yourself if you think you can do it *I tryed myself, but it were never perfect hahaha On the final I had to go to a man who just work with old Mercedes and he easly Saw that the MAS USA was bad Maybe its the same thing on yours, but I am not sure, I am just explaining what happened with me, I hope I helped you Good luck with it, its a really good car 😎😎😎 *The problem was MAS USA rele, it was because of it that the car just worked fine on cold or warm temperatures *See if it well conected, mine was not and got damaged because of it It has to BE on One and can't move too much, on zero its to desassemble
@@cesarcesarpires i'm hopeful that i can solve it - my next stop is to change the ignition (cap, rotor, plugs, wires), then address the air/fuel by changing the potentiometer. Its also possible that the fuel pumps or filter aren't happy. i just changed the filter, but the car sat for a long time before i got it and maybe its sucking in garbage from the tank
@@petrolandpizza yes if the car was stopped for a wile and don't have a revision yet, can be many things Potentiometer can be damaged too, but I don't think so I have mine for almost 20 years, I don't have that much experience on parts problems, I have just One idea of how the things work
What is that?
LOVE THE 190E CONTENT!
Thanks! Lots more to come soon!
UM I saw a Caribe 02? Maybe? Also, interesting re the two fuel pumps. Great stuff.
02 is a 71 - Rivera & rust with a white trunk lid. There’s a few more 02’s hiding in here too!
Very informative!!
This is great! Congratulations on your production!
Same issue. Did you solve this?
Finally getting around to it. have replaced about half of the lines. Will do a follow up video once i know more.
finished the job yesterday and the new lines fixed the problem. Unfortunately i broke the AC high idle vacuum switch in the process, but when I seal it off it runs properly. There were definitely a few vacuum leaks though and i'm glad i did the job. I used 3mm silicon hose - www.summitracing.com/parts/tbs-ts-hv0303-bk
have a similar issue with my hijet. just idling normally looks like in the video. What ended up being wrong with urs?
Ever find out what it was
still haven't gotten around to it, pretty much all projects got shelved. From the reading i did, its likely the vacuum system & I plan to replace all the vacuum hoses once it gets a little cooler outside
Have you checked the fuel pump relay?

*We have 5 cameras! Great sound and great picture quality>>>**t.co/wJqspT2ANP** Wish the panorama was wider and the connectivity to talk was quicker (that could be my WiFi’s). I also have in the house for a nanny cam. We just love love the quality! Great buy!*
so did you use arlo or go pro?
