Hi, there's no evidence for it being a Roman bath. It's more likely a small religious site. You would expect Roman bath houses to be associated with the Roman military or a villa complex. An excellent example is the Roman military bath house at Melyd Avenue Prestatyn. There was a Roman Fort at Ruthin now under a housing estate next to Brynhyfryd school. It was served by an excellent road system. One coming from Deva [Chester] which linked up with the one from Wrexham. The one from Deva met up with the Roman road from the Roman Fort by Bala Lake. An excellent section of the Roman road can be seen as a cutting in the hillside to the right of Dyfryn service station Ruthin.

Is there any evidence for the Roman bath..

What a shame drove past this the other day and thought what a stunning old building...one of so many in Liverpool...

Hi there ! I visited here twice in Oct 2019 . First time - I could get in to the main building at the spot at 2:54 . That was for a recce. I visited again 3 weeks later(with an Urbex buddy) and it had been boarded up (boarded, not bricked). That entry point at 3:16 : how recent is that ? Many thanks.
