Linda3 (PS1) Will Make You Question Everything

Linda3 (リンダキューブ) is a classic Japan-only JRPG for the PS1. Infamously referred to as the 'weirdest' RPG ever made, Linda3 tells a bizarre story about Ken and Linda, who must catch all of Neo-Kenya's wild animals and pilot them into space aboard the Astro-Ark before the collision of an enormous meteoroid. Linda3 is both cartoonish and disturbing, which makes for an unsettling mix. Shoji Masuda, ...
Mega Man Legends Was Creepy

Mega Man Legends, or Mega Man 64 for the N64, was a classic PS1 RPG from Capcom, and it was a scary game for me as a kid. Capcom developed some of the best PS1 survival horror games, like Resident Evil and Dino Crisis, so Mega Man Legends was possibly influenced by their game design. Today, MML and MML2 are two of the favorite games of many RPG lovers, including myself despite giving me nightma...

Final Fantasy's Most Evil Side Quest

FF9 may have the hardest side quest of the Final Fantasy series. Steiner's ultimate weapon, Excalibur 2, is incredibly difficult to obtain without a guide, and maybe impossible. The player must reach the end of FF9's final dungeon, Memoria, in under 12 hours in order to receive it. One of Square Enix’s masterpiece JRPGs for the PS1, Final Fantasy 9 was guided by the genius Hironobu Sakaguchi, w...
FF9 Is Not What It Seems

FFIX is my favorite Final Fantasy. One of Square Enix’s masterpiece JRPGs for the PS1, Final Fantasy 9 was guided by the genius Hironobu Sakaguchi, while Tetsuya Nomura focused more on Kingdom Hearts. Final Fantasy I, or FF1, is a classic masterpiece JRPG developed by Squaresoft for the NES console in 1987. Created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, with character design by Yoshitaka Amano, FF1 was an instant classic that spawned a famous JRPG series of mainline video game entries on the SNES, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS5. In FF1, the first town of the game is called Cornelia, which I have examined in-de...

34:33 in my run in scenario A i think i might have been extremely overpowered, because i rescued most of the animal creatures so my dolphin form was very powerful. I guessed that was supposed to be a hard fight because my dogs and linda cant do a thing to Hume
Hey, i love this video so much, thanks for all the work you have doing this. I saw the game in an youtube video ranking dark rpgs, fell interested by the games art and the concept but your video explaining the mecanics and so made me play the game.
23:48 a cool fact is that an NPC in Hardia(first town) also tells Ken that he is adopted, right in the beggining of the game.
It's really not worth skipping the best FF made. 🤷🏿♂️
My favorite PS1 game… but damn those dungeons were creepy as fuck… and they’re connected
The only thing I knew about was the giant cactuar
I never thought that noahs ark was the oroginal pokemon.
This needs a remake, like yesterday!
0:14 what
In no way are any of these secrets . 😂
Three Stars is a different name for the Celestriad (Economizer) from FF6. Celestial (star) triad (three)!
I love your videos. Please keep making them.
Thank you for introducing this game. This is actually a pretty interesting approach to make a game.
Draw system and junctioning are the shit and part of the reason why ff8 is my favorite in the series. The characters, the story, those beautiful cut scenes. Such a gem.
From a Christian stand point, human beings have domain over the animals. Adam actually named the animals and tended to them. From what I remember he didn’t eat meat either. It wasn’t till the snake had tricked Eve to sin by telling her she could become like God. This was a great video! Makes me want to play the game for myself ✌️
26 years after my first playthrough I finally discovered ATM-092 (boss from Dollet) could be killed
A remake of FF8 would be much harder to make has to be the most in depth Final Fantasy of all time
To be honest, I've a similar dream that you had. The ruins sounds, the calm before de storm and that kind of ambience, give some indescriptible vibes.
I loved this game in middle school. Played it a lot. Its honestly one of my favorite FF.
A really well made video about a profoundly good game, nice.
Stinky fart debuff
What a cope
Cut man is literally weak against the buster. Why? Because rock crushes scissors
put the jean bulliard down breh put the simulacra down.
really enjoy this kind of psychological game , gonna search more about and even try
cack 2 r
Back in the day, we had Prima guides. The book told you everything. Crazy thing is that it was certified by the developer. It would tell you how to make the best builds. Actually insane. These islands were also mentioned.
the jumping rope is ridiculous. especially since its linked to a trophy too. how is anyone going to ever finish that
I think the point where I found out you had to lose cards to get all the cards... was the point at which I gave up on that side quest!
I’m curious how the developers were able to come up with such a precise time, with so many variables
huh I never knew about the shadow man quests, that's insane...
I recently had the great joy of reading a Let's Play of this game on the Let's Play Archive and it's a bizarre, fascinating, both sorrowful and hopeful world that doesn't hesitate to show both the good and bad in people.
How many time you was in the bet market. And bet for items? You can get the Excalibur 2 at this way to. But, I don't remember how long play time my was. And I have play not fast. Maybe 40-50 our and it was in the bet market ware hours shop. I was angry the first time I see it. I had not enough Gil. And hours later, days later. Real days. I had shool. The Excalibur 2 show of again. I have use pal version. German.
In other words, they expected players to speedrun the game, long before speedrun was even a thing. It's no wonder they've hidden it all the way near the end, by doing 9999 each hit Steiner would have trashed Ozma effortlessly. At least you still get to try it on Hades. Strictly speaking, speedrunning it isn't too hard, unless you're terrible at Tetra Master, because some genius at Square just had to gate the plot advancement with that ridiculous card tournament at Treno. In the end, I just used Cheat Engine to get it. Surprisingly, Square didn't actually made the character weapons exclusive, as in everyone can actually use each other's weapons with all the stats and effect intact. It's quite funny to see Dagger and Eiko wield the Excalibur 2, Freya and Quina looks very silly with it too.
Apparently, in dream sequence 2, finding and doing certain things will make certain places accessible on Lunatic Pandora later on. Finding the key twice (and subsequently losing it) causes a door to be unlocked later on containing a one use Ultima Draw and LuvLuvG. Actuals looking at it now there's a laundry list of things to do in a specific order to get up to six things, including a Speed-J scroll. (copied from Vilurum on Gamefaqs) 1. On the screen just left of the three trapdoors, find and automatically lose the Old Key. 2. Find the three trapdoors and open the middle one (fuss with it and leave the screen to the right). 3. Come back after that and fuss with the right one. 4. (Optional.) Go allllll the way around to the left side and fuss with that one too. 5. Two screens right of the three trapdoors, find and automatically lose *that* Old Key. 6. Set off the detonator - far boulder first, near boulder second. (Note: you will want to do steps #3 and #4 *before* step #6. The explosions will shake open the trapdoors on the sides, but only if you fussed with them *beforehand*.) 7. One screen up and one screen left of the detonator, push the boulder to the lower left. #1 will get you a one-time Ultima DP. #2 will get you some boring DP or other. Confuse or something uninteresting like that. #3 + #6 will get you a Power Generator. #4 + #6 will get you a Phoenix Pinion. #5 will get you a LuvLuv G. #6 will, in addition to the above, make a path for you to cross to get *to* all the above rewards (except the LuvLuv G), as well as to Combat King 005 which is just lying around. #7 will get you a Spd-J Scroll.
Man 3 games storys in 1 game. Thats a gold mine by then.
I dunno man, some of those weapon in FFX are actually just grey hair inducingly hard, they take years off your life.
Like Blitzball, not only is the weapon locked behind it, but one of the sigil as well as Wakka's attack reel overdrive. Let's just say dodging lightning 200 times is infinitely easier. Alas, you pretty much need him and his celestial weapon unlocked in order to fight Penance.
There's a special place in hell for the people who thought this was a great idea....
Dude it was so hard to get 😢. Also... wtf is that secret boss in the sky Ozma... man soo aids
People love to romanticize and use that Sailor Moony art style when talking about the 90s, but like... Linda3 definitely embodies a style that was common in the late 80s and early 90s for anime too.
as a child i figured out the shadow-monkey thing as well as the heaven and hell island and the giant cactor on the island myself ... when i got the game on steam i looked up the ufo thing because i knew something was about it when i encountered it multiple times as a child, but couldnt figure it out it the end ... with zells lovething tho i had no clue at all until now :)
Wow i saw that ufo once in my life, i thought it was an easter egg or some mandela effect stuff

By far the worst is 1000 jump rope
So 1st scene hits with the racist elder design. I think okay another game being covered with racist elements no one will mention or address. Been there, done that, so let's see what the wacky plot is gonna be. Racism/colorism gets worse with everything Hyum. But then, I'm ngl jaguar sounds for his boss fight? The bigotry has circled back round to so rudimentary it's a Lil funny, a lil comedian on stage😂
I was never able to finish 9 as my last disc would freeze at a certain point of the main story. I think I was like 2 bosses from the final or some 💩
First time hearing about this i've played FFIX in 2003 and it took me 154 hours to finish it but never knew about this sword until now
Could someone tell me where to find the Linda cube? Please?
without the "the"
