The obscure untranslated JRPG 'Bokura No Kazoku' (PS2) was a Japan-only game developed by Millennium Kitchen, the studio behind Boku No Natsuyasumi and, more recently, Natsumon 21st Century Kid, from the creator Kaz Ayabe.

Linda3 (リンダキューブ) is a classic Japan-only JRPG for the PS1. Want to buy me a coffee? buymeacoffee.com/gnosisbusic Infamously referred to as the 'weirdest' RPG ever made, Linda3 tells a bizarre story about Ken and Linda, who must catch all of Neo-Kenya's wild animals and pilot them into space aboard the Astro-Ark before the collision of an enormous meteoroid. Mega Man Legends Was Creepy

Mega Man Legends, or Mega Man 64 for the N64, was a classic PS1 RPG from Capcom, and it was a scary game for me as a kid. Capcom developed some of the best PS1 survival horror games, like Resident Evil and Dino Crisis, so Mega Man Legends was possibly influenced by their game design. Today, MML and MML2 are two of the favorite games of many RPG lovers, including myself despite giving me nightma...

Final Fantasy's Most Evil Side Quest

FF9 may have the hardest side quest of the Final Fantasy series. Steiner's ultimate weapon, Excalibur 2, is incredibly difficult to obtain without a guide, and maybe impossible. Final Fantasy I, or FF1, is a classic masterpiece JRPG developed by Squaresoft for the NES console in 1987. I wonder if stuff like this is found by accident or SE told the world 😆
Bravo! This is brilliant analysis.
stop the crap as and ff fan and ff8 there no such thing you mod your game nice try big fail
We are the same throughout all lifetimes at our core, but externally we can seem extremely different and make wildy different choices.
I am 28 and I see no point in living again from 0. My memories are just that, I have no reason to go back apart from maybe 1 or 2 specific scenes for fun. That time is over and I am mentally not there anymore. I could have made better choices earlier knowing what I know now, but that's not my life.

meh
I know megaman legend's controls are clunky, but I remember getting used to it. But yeah it can feel very frantic at times. I still also just love the art style and characters in this game.
It was insane that MML3 was cancelled even with all that fan support it had.
does anyone know the song at 0:54? i cant seem to find it
This is part of the game's original soundtrack, but it is from Ravel's 'Mother Goose' suite.
@@gnosis_gaming thank you so much sir❤❤
11:55 that birthday present was the yuyu hakusho fighting game back on the sega megadrive 2 for me. That game shaped me into the shounen anime weeboo that I am now at 40. Also, is that an ff7 reference?
@@hyschara haha yes it is!
I discorvered Linda Cube by my research about the Japanese artist Tatsuyuki Tanaka, of wich has made the artwork for the game. Since 3 or 4 years ago i aways came across the artwork of Linda Cube, aways finded it intriguing, but never went after it, it aways gave me a distinct feeling, somewhat unpleasant, unconfortable, of wich aways has been what indulged me into the works of Tatsuyuki Tanaka, and now that i know a little more about the game im even more obssesed with the artwork, and the story behind it, i think this is one of those games that will never get out of my head from now on.

I think the biggest shame for me is that I never actually played FFIX :( I played VII, VIII and X (and the MMOs) but for some reason never got 9, which I regret.

From my experience and observations of the others it feels like everyone has a slightly different affinity towards miscellaneous "tastes" and it is unlikely that those affinities can be significantly "overpowered" by parenting (things can even backfire). Just my two cents. As for the game, I can't believe how detailed it looks for a ps2 game. Looks like a lot of effort was put into backgrounds.
Is there an any % speedrun of this 😹
Lol, I don't think it's possible to speedrun this game 😂
Why dis video make me wanna freaking cry i have chills
It looks fun but I wish they kept the old art style.. 😢
I love the old character designs of Mineko Ueda, but Natsu-mon's world is also extremely beautiful to look at!
I wish we had proper games like this now! I was a huge fan of the summer holiday one so its my first time seeing this! ❤ wish i coild give it a try
You should try again (legit), after all you nearly got it as a kid, now you would probably get it 😉
As a mother i appreciate games like this. I think about how my actions and words affect my child alot, I fret over things like our future and if we will be able to give him the life we had originally wanted. I worry about things hindering his development, we have recently forgone TV all together because of learning that even a tiny bit is not good for children under 2 yo. I think back and wish I had done some things differently, if we had not given him screen time then maybe his speech would have progressed better. But he is starting to say a few words, so I am hopeful. But then I see him smile and laugh and play so energetically, and that assures me that we have given him everything he needs. Being a parent is both the best and hardest thing anyone will ever do, it takes everything in you some days, but also gives you so much at the same time. My energy may be low, but my cup is always full because when your child gives you hugs and kisses unprompted and unrequested, it really is the best feeling in the world❤
I wish you the best! Did you know that some of the world's geniuses were late speakers? Einstein didn't speak until 2 and a half.
I am going to stop here at 0:50 because I think I need to play this game before I keep watching. I have been feeling a lot about getting older and what my life means. And I feel like I am going to get a lot more playing a game about that then a video. see you all in a week or so
How do you only have 23.4k subscribers? Your videos are amazing keep up the great work!
@@shizukosmoke_storm3003 thank you!
the graphics are beautiful. limiting the physical features of the characters allows one to seep into the story while the non-real backgrounds place one into the setting. Not being raised in Japan, I can still place myself within the scenes relative to my own upbringing.
Absolutely. Abstract graphics allow you to accept the abstract way that the game works. It's sort of the same reason why actors in ancient Greece used to wear masks. Avoiding perfect hyperrealism actually helps to keep the magic alive.
What a beautiful game
"Back in the day, south of here, there used to be a small but beautiful village surrounded by deep forests. Everyone lived a happy life there." This is where the shadow used to live when he was alive.
I'm really surprised that this game got this type of cartoony art style back in ps2 era
This kind of Game concepts are so fun yet so terrify because there is not line to follow and the onli way of "win" is using your brain and hearth.

Oh I want an english translation of this game so bad! What a lovely find! Thank you for this video, your voice is lovely and the pacing and editing of this video really matches the vibe of the game. I hope more people watch this and if they can play it I hope they pick it up. It's so charming! I believe our past really shapes us but good news is that our present becomes the past too so just make more choices you prefer if you want a certain future. Sure not everything is in our control but don't dwell on "what ifs" because that leads to madness! One day at a time is honestly good enough.
