David Belle (The FOUNDER of parkour) helped with the Dying Light games so that just makes Dying Light 2 more accurate + Aiden is a superhuman so he can do pretty dangerous stunts

Mirror's Edge was much more fluid and cinematic, while Dying Light 2 is more creative. Maybe a little bit too bouncy at times. Both are fun.

You can tell dying light was made by the same devs. They really took all of mirrors edge’s parkour (outside of the leg lift) and refined/expanded on it.

all these major height boosts to jumps and vaulting is given to you by default in both morris edge games. In DL2. It’s all upgrades you unlock later in the game.

Dying Light 2 is just an embarassment compared to Mirror's Edge, DL1 is way better than DL2 both parkour and story-wise

Dying Light 2's parkour just seems nicer to me, especially since there's a bunch of zombies running around at all times for you to dropkick in the face.

Mirrors edge is a lot like the first dying light’s parkour, it’s plain but cinematic, but the game also has parkour elements from dying light 2. For example; the horizontal bars that can be swung off of, wall running, the realistic grapple that swings, etc.

People bitching about "REALISM". Lets be honest, if any of these games were trying to be "REALISTIC", Faith would have gotten shot immediately and Aiden would have ended up killing himself on the first jump he took lmao

You are extremely skilled in both games but I'm pretty sure dying light 2 has another parkour mode what's one being more realistic and one being more floatie

The problem with DL2 is the animation. The arms wobble too much, and certain moves such as climbing up feel somewhat sluggish, especially compared to the first game, which offers cleaner animations and snappier camera movements.

This level (Tower Raid) is different everytime, ive done it once, after that while you're killing the Z's something kills you outright. I get the feeling IF you're doing too well in the game,you get killed off, which i think is SO wrong.

I love how the original ME and Catalyst looks but after playing DL2, i feel like DL2 feels better to play. One problem that i always had with most parkour games is that they don't convey the sense of running very well. They're always overly smooth to reduce motion sickness. MEC had this exact problem, it felt like Faith was a chicken with how steady her head was while running, rolling and so on. Thankfully DL2 has a slider to control the smoothness, and at 0 smoothness with max FOV, it truly feels like you're character is putting effort into running, jumping and so on. And that's not mentioning how much of a game changer being able to control your jump height is. A Mirror's Edge with DL2 controls would be fucking amazing.

Hi~ Has the physical effect of water in the game been improved? Specifically: Are there ripples when walking in a pond? Are there ripples when swimming? Or is it still as basic as when it was first released? I didn't see these features tested in the video, so I hope to get a reply from you after testing. Thank you.

Underwhelming for you maybe, but I love it. You people complain too much for something that’s still in beta.

This is a beta, not the full release. If you don’t like what was added, tell techland what to improve for the full release

it's amazing how this community complained at first how the game was a grind fest, just for them to go ask for a game mode to get added that is nothing but a grind fest. Then complain about it on the first week of beta. Techland should tell this community and this game to F off. Ungrateful fan base

I still don't understand what the reason for the disappointment is. Raids look quite promising for a normal level. And they look absolutely great compared to the alpha version :) I think it's worth waiting for the Elite level and seeing what will happen there (because there are rumors that it will be... more fun there). Moreover, I think it's not worth burying the game so early. After all, it's not an MMO and not a full-fledged game-as-service, so that it would have updates all the time. It's logical that people play it once or twice and leave. I know many people who did just that. This is normal, it's not a disaster. People in the community sometimes feel like there is no life outside the game, although everyone plays other games too. If you constantly get hung up on expectations and disappointments, then the game can get boring much faster.

“People” still play this disgrace of a game? They still haven’t even fixed the main game and are already running for crappy dlc “content”. When are people going to learn that making a unfinished, repetitive, and buggy game and then drip feeding content through “dlc’s” is horrible and shouldn’t be the standard nowadays? It’s clear that tencent doesn’t actually want to make a decent game and just wants to get more bundle sales, why would I expect anything different from a off-shore Chinese company.😂

I think we should let them have the time they need especially for dlc 2, after that I think they can focus on everything the game needs

It’s not done tho their adding more to it each week im sure it will get better and I actually enjoy playing the tower raid a little first time in a while I can sit and play the game for and hour and be invested

The AI needs to be improved with the Tower Raid update. If you go to a forsaken store, it's very common that viral AI status bugging and they spin around you like crazy. Volatile AI also stops detecting you and they stare at a wall instead.

Man, 2 seasons have passed since tower raids was announced :( DLC 2 was supposed to come out around this time too smh
