As a chemist that description is completely accurate, but I will say how saturated shit has become bc nobody does straight chem anymore bc there's no money in it unless you're an engineer. Everyone does biochem and works at some weird bio tech company or pharmaceutical company OR a beauty company, and they all make a shit ton of money because the markets. Naturally this kicks all the young ppl out of the sciences bc you can't survive on it so the options are either go somewhere else, go back to school, or be a consultant and sell your soul.

Ive been looking for something, anything at all, that will make expressing my thoughts easy for me. Ive tried drawing, music, and even sports but nothing could beat writing. Writing is the only way I could properly put my thoughts in order, and you introducing me to keeping a commonplace book is what Ive been looking for. Writing a diary isnt really for me, I dread the day I actually write something in a diary because of pressure of making it look good for some reason, while having a commonplace book says otherwise which I really appreciate

as a psych student; we are either mentally ill and wanted to help people, had no idea what to go into, or thought it would be easy but now have to take three stats courses and two neurobiology courses
