Personal opinion: Despite the main melody (which consists of around 10 notes) being beautiful, the whole song sounds empty and shallow. I feel this way about much of the most "famous" contemporary music. It lacks depth and doesn't have existential layers, only technical ones. There's so much chaos and noise around a few notes, making many songs sound almost the same. They may sound different, but what they deliver is essentially the same, as if they were all written by the same person. To me, this indicates an alarming lack of personality in people today, even in those who are acclaimed as artists. I am not talking about the pianists but those who compose the music that later will reach us at home through the main stream channel such as RUclips. Or maybe this type of music is a genre and I just don't like?

I listened three times. First time not focussed on it " Wait What?" second time fully enjoyed though not with headphones, and third time to show my son.

Poor tuner having to tune with a hall full of people.

What an amazing evening, i have played a Steinway and also heard some very accomplished musicians play the instrument but i never really heard a Steinway until i HEARD Yuja, i was in the audience close up and was astonished, how anyone can hit every note in perfect time with perfect articulation and i mean every single note not louder of quieter than it should be in order to convey a perfect representation of what is on paper. Thanks Yuja for a priceless memory implanted deed within my mind, be blessed. David Bahar x

That piano sounded a little too bright for that Glass etude; however, she definitely played it better than the composer ever could. Makes me melancholy for the tv show Succession . . . alternating between despair and tragedy . . .

Amazing piece - first time hearing this piece - l 💕 it 🎼🎶🎵🎶 I first heard Prokofiev for the 1st time many years ago by Isao Tomita on his album "Bermuda Triangle" - a classic electronic masterpiece - so musical 🎶🎵🎶 and dynamic 👍💕
