the doctor clearly loves clara but not in the romantic sense. clara is..........well beautiful beyond words but the doctor saw her as more of a very close friend. and clara loves him right back but again, its not romantic. i like this dynamtic between them.

Clara with 11: eh, she's ok, but i definitely preferred victorian Clara woth 11 Clara with 12: best companion, best foil to 12, best rapport with the doctor, etc. Seriously, Clara went from a mid companion to top three for me just based on her interactions with 12. Personally, my all time favorite. The love, the duty, and the care or each other goes unmatched.

Their relationship is so natural and pure, and most importantly equal in the best sense of the word. No one is trying to make a woman look strong and independent or a man too soft and weak. They are equally capable of being leaders, capable of feelings, and most importantly, they accept each other. It's a strange relationship, but I miss those times when no one tried to hide the script's mediocrity by fighting for someone's rights, but simply showed the relationship between two wonderful people.
