Not a goth, but I absolutely love these songs. I'm a void, meaning I range anywhere from goth to metal,etc.

Prior to exploring this genre, I wouldn't have expected "French goth music" to be so prominent, but learn something new every day.

inho, a basic goth music playlist should definitely include more pioneers of the genre like The Sisters of Mercy and Echo and the Bunnymen. Type O Negative should be in there too. And it would be great to have more than just a cover song by Siouxsie Sioux...

Other than Bauhaus and some Cure... most of the bands you played seemed to have missed the mark at the time, assuming they're 80's bands...

Haha just made me doubt my music knowledge.. i started to think siouxsie and the b wrote the passenger song, one of my favourites so had to look it up... nope it was iggy. I wouldn't have considered it a goth song. Im technically a punk if you wanna label anything.. im very eclectic but always had a darker side with music, this mix.. is good but has got me wondering is it cool for goths to listen to death metal or thrash?... is it all just 70s sounding or the cure thats cool? I get roots are good but generally i like a faster pace music. I have been called a goth many times and i denied but does this mean im exempt?? 😄
