Wow, this is so much better and I Agree, this is how it should've been done.

All they needed to do in this scene was use some flashbacks as she's sitting on the dragon, showing all that she's suffered through, everyone she has lost. Would have given some context to her snapping like that. But generally I love how much this pissed off everyone who wanted the fairy tale ending to the show that was, all the way up until this point, the unequivocal anti-fairy tale ending TV series.

Idc what yall say Daenerys didnt deserve to be killed and she wasnt a mad queen she had to watch her best friend killed and cersei promised she would help fight with them against the night king and she lied, she lost her dad figured friend and more all while remaining disciplined enough to ask her for a truce at first so yeah she just got tired of it. I dont agree wit killing innocent children and people regardless but i understand why she did it unfortunately.

This scene would've made so much sense if it had proper build-up. Daenerys going insane was a valid plot point that could have been brought forward. Not some random thing that happens in the last two episodes.

Foi nesse momento, que o diretores simplesmente enfiaram no cool , uma personagem incrível que foi moldada aos poucos, em todas as temporadas anteriores, acabou ela morrendo de forma tão escrota, no qual também acabaram com o Jon Snow, o foco principal da série , o terror absoluto e todo mistério era os White Walkers, essa temporada foi feita totalmente errada, a luta final, o encerramento teria que ser contra os White Walkers, Cersei tinha que ter acontecido logo antes, Arya ter matado o Rei da Noite foi de cair o coool da bunda também, essa honra era para ser do Jon Snow.

I think Dany becoming a Mad Queen could’ve been a cool story, if done well, but I’d still rather have her as the hero. I think if it was done like it is in the video, she could’ve learned from her mistakes and still end up sitting on the Iron Throne as a just queen.

I can only hope on of two options come alive 1. season 8 gets shot new with the old cast and a new story 2. or a remake with another great cast and a new story. If any fan (1.5 million) donates 50 dollars we should have 75 million. That should do. We need another ending. For Daenerys to go mad makes very little to no sense at all. She wanted to be different...

Thank you for telling his story once again with this beautiful vid. It never stops to amaze me how powerful and dark and just...very human this character is. Of course he did also bad things, but there was this spirit in him, keeping him going, that just...is the kind of spirit which changes the world, in the end. And I'm so sad about the ending but I hope he found peace at least. This vid was so inspiring, some songs from this album are very proper for telling his story.❤

Dany and Cersei should've had a proper fight, then Arya turns up at the end to finish Cersei off, then they all live happily ever after. but NO!

There are sections where the music becomes too loud & drowns out the dialog. Other than that, it's perfect.

I reckon this is the scene is why Martin is spend so long writing last 2 books. He didnt like the receptions so hes re writing them for a more palatable ending

Why they fight

Far worse than King’s Landing being burned is how they handled the Battle of Winterfell. That was FAR, FAR worse. Every component. The Dothraki running into the darkness to open the battle. Tully somehow fighting on the front lines and remaining alive at the end. The apparent respawning of the Dothraki and the unsullied. Both armies should have been vastly depleted AND WERE! The fact that we never once saw a white walker battle scene during the whole episode. The ridiculous amount of darkness for the viewer to sift through. The Theon night king charge. It was beyond abysmal to the point of laughable. What’s even more laughable is how invested so many of you are in the land of make believe. Like this stuff actually had a huge impact on your lives. These show runners are making big money people! They don’t care about you. Get a hobby. Be productive. LIVE!

Who finds this show near impossible to watch again knowing the last two seasons were so bad?

The only way her burning innocent people would have made any sense would’ve been if she started hear voices in her head like her father saying to “Burn them all!”

Cersei killed every potential bastards in kings landing in season 1.forgiven. Stannis killed his brother with a demon. Forgiven. Jon led his army to the grave in the battle of bastards. Forgiven. But nah, she's the MaD QUeNn. All of season 8 was a trainwreck

“If you think there’s a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention”. I saw her turning when bariston selmy tried to convince her not to crucify the masters. Then again when she burned the masters for the sons of the harpy killing bariston, then I saw it coming AGAIN when she burned Randall Tarly and DICKON Tarly.

People keep saying that Daenerys burning down King’s Landing instead of attacking Cersei makes no sense. However, keep in mind, all of Troy was destroyed because Paris took Helen. Chances are Daenerys equally blames the people for just following Cersei and letting her do what she pleases.

Cersi was using the people as a shield, she knew Daenerys had a good heart (freeing slaves etc) so Cersi spread lies about Daenerys and the ignorant ppl bought it. Cersi knew if Daenerys army was to reach the red keep, they would have to kill even the innocent ppl that had filled the streets. (They rejoiced when good ppl were killed before). So Daenerys made a decision to teach them all a lesson. She couldn't rule over ppl who didn't want to be free. (Remember all through she gave free will to slaves and they chose their own freedom). The only part where i found she had gone too far was the breaking the wheel. She wanted to concquer all the territories like she had done to kings landing. That's also the point when John Snow decided to kill her.

After multiple watches - I get it. Here’s my interpretation: Think back to when she took over (liberated) Mereen.. how the people welcomed her. They chanted “Mhysa” and wanted to touch her. Here, the people were screaming and crying. They were scared of her. She didn’t have their love and adoration. She even looks more upset when the bells go off. To me, it’s because the bells signify mercy. The people are asking for mercy from a conquerer. Not freedom from a savior.. which is what she thought she was. She lost two dragons, two friends, and most of her allies for this… for people crying for mercy FROM her and unable to see she was their salvation from Cersei (in her mind) . I never minded she went mad in the end. I loved her even then. But it was so rushed that it took a lot of rewatching to kinda piece together what was going on in her mind. At least, what I think was going on lol

Drogon seems to be the size of Meleys the Red Queen, how is this possible? But Meleys was at least 75yrs old, even if Drogon is a big boy at most he should just be the size of Vermax or Arrax as he's only 5yrs old.

another great ending would be with addition of only one scene. after the bells ring, danny goes to the gates, retreating where the idiot commander of golden company foolishly kills grey worm, danny sees it from the air and turns back to burn the city.

This should have been the ending. That way there could have been a sensible sequel. The writers deserve total ridicule.

I think that she must be doing this in the canon, I think Jon didn't kill her if she only destroyed the Red Keep, instead all the city.

Ringing the bell doesn't give her back all that she has lost .it doesn't bring back her friend. She should have destroyed the bell
