I'm not a Christian. Raised catholic, I've strayed when I was 13 because I was an edgy teenage asshole bombaded with anti-christian propaganda. Your average teenager these days, really, but 17 years ago it was edgy. Being naturally curious and skeptic, I've "rediscovered" christianity thanks to many things, some of them being close to fervorous, highly cultured and knowledgeable christian people (one of them even became a priest!). But what made me pop the bubble of prejudice was the good a prayer group does my parents (it's their own thing mixing Umbanda, kardecism and christianity, but they're truly good people). So, I've started studying the christian philosophy that built this civilization. And the impression I get is that you guys (christians) create beauty as an offering to God.
