Ben's musical journey began in the Sydney suburb of Sutherland where he discovered his passion for electric bass at the age of 14.
To further his musical education, Ben enrolled in the Jazz program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where he completed his Associate Diploma in Jazz Studies (Performance) This led to his role as bassist for Australian pop act Human Nature, which took him on numerous national and international tours.
Ben's impressive career also includes touring and recording with a host of legendary acts such as Smokey Robinson, Mary Wilson,Bachelor Girl, Kate Ceberano, Tina Arena, David Campbell, Paul Gray, iOTA, Emma Pask, Pee Wee Ferris, Paul Mac, Ross Wilson, Paulini Curuenavuli, Baby Animals, Jimmy Barnes, Jon Stevens, Richard Clapton and Ian Moss
Ben has further showcased his musical versatility by performing in the orchestra pit for Melbourne productions of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (The Musical), Jersey Boys, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

1977 Musicman Stingray bass for a fraction of the cost?!? My experience with modding a Sterling Ray4
I recently modded a cheap Sterling Ray4 by replacing preamp with a 1977 Stingray preamp clone and replacing pick up. This video explains my experience. I was really happy with the result! A quick demo of the Boss OC-5 Octave pedal. Such a fun pedal, thought I’d play with a pick for something different. Settings I used on pedal: Vintage mode, Direct level - 100%, 1oct level - around 30% (11 o’clock) and -1oct level - bit over 50% (just past 12 o’clock).
