Hi there, I am Sergio an electronic engineering apprentice, electronics and laser hobbyist.
I make things and explain how they work.
What I am missing in editing skills I try to make up with informative content.
For contacting me either write me an E-mail or send me a dm on discord (I am much faster to respond on discord)
My discord tag is: firefox1136

Everything about the ZVS driver
In this Video I talk about my ZVS driver, I explain how it works and draw some arcs.
Unfortunately I could not draw any baking soda arcs in this video, since I did not have appropriate eye protection laying around.
Note: I am sorry for the few audio artefacts that appeared in the video and I might have to slightly change my recording setup.

5:31-6:07 Transistor mounting info
6:07-6:37 what now?
6:37-8:07 Scope measurements/waveforms
8:07-8:51 Arcs
8:51-9:08 Outro

How to install Linux (Building my new lab episode1)
Просмотров 1332 года назад
This is the first part of a video series about me building my new lab. Since every modern lab needs a computer, in this episode I install linux on an old think-centre desktop. (Note: this is not my usual content) Linux mint website: linuxmint.com/download.php balenaEtcher website: www.balena.io/etcher/ Instalation guide with the code: forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=291093 Timestamps:...
High voltage safety (Mot's)
Просмотров 9872 года назад
Note: In this video I just mention general high voltage safety and other hazards may apply in your case. Read the video description for further info. I will also make more detailed videos in the future about safety devices I mentioned in this video, like a dead mans switch and about hazards that only apply in surten cases. Also I used a new camera to film this video, I hope you like the improve...
Diy simple mini SSTC

Important note: In the schematic there are two transistors, I used the IRF530 in my circuit, with that transistor the coil runs well at 12-15v. If you want to run it at higher voltages use the IRF640. Also I could not buy the proper switches, since my local electronics shop was closed, that is why the red switch is hanging out like that. Here is an interupter, that is very similar to the one I ...
All you need to know about USB killers (with scematic and test)
Просмотров 6082 года назад
So today, we are gonna explore an (in my oppinion) very useless device, the usb killer. I build this killer myself an i will test it in this video. Thanks for watching! Warning: This project includes high voltage capacitors, that can hold a charge for a long time and li-Ion batterys, which can light on fire or explode, if mistreated. Use apropriate PPE when replicating this project. I do not co...
All about NSTs

Analog voltmeter high voltage mod
Просмотров 5523 года назад
Important: you can't just use just one resistor in the voltage divider since the voltage divider resistor(s) has a high voltage on it. in this example about 4500v max. (the voltage you measure minus the voltage of the range of the meter, in my case 5000-500=4500) if you don't use multiple resistors or one high voltage resistor they will arc over and maybe damage or destroy your meter. Also: thi...
