Hey I just rebuilt a raptor 660r 01 including the carbs , I changed the compression to 11:1 with a high compression piston an the set carb to manual specifications and when I start it i can't get it too accelerate it just sputters , any suggestions?

Mine idles fine but won’t take throttle. It stumbles and backfires when you throttle. It came without a plate over the throttle on carb and no air filter.. I installed both

That is great info. I’ve been having problems with these new carburetors I put on mine. I don’t think the air and the fuel is set, right

I am having trouble getting my raptor 660 to start I got hosed buying it on Craigslist so I replace the whole top end and everything else including wiring except the gears in crankcase it started first shot but after I turned it off it won’t start again any ideas

Okay so I had my ATV shipped in parts to where I am now (Pakistan) it’s a euro model. Since putting it back together I’ve had a few issues (I’ve gone by the manual guidebook. . Carb problem. I cleaned the filter out and doused it with engine oil to make it stick and I blowed and pumped air through the carb on taking the air filter out and little little bits of silver would come out and be visible in the petrol. Didn’t work! Overflow pipes are throwing out alot of fuel and to basically stop that and prevent it I’m having to leave the fuel on half or less than half on like literally a little up from off. Now I need to open up the carb and clean it n check the float levels. Can anybody guide me or give me any advice as where I am now there isn’t a mechanic or anyone who specialises in these machines so I’m gonna have to go about it myself. . I have a tooth on the front sprocket broken, which I think may have something to do with the bike not going in neural when switched on. My question is if I were to get it repaired as it’s only 1 tooth on the cog would it be okay or would it be best to replace the part as a whole (remember I’m in Pakistan there’s no part market for this and will be a long wait in the post) so could it be possible to repair that sprocket cog. The bike does go in neutral but only when switched off does not happen when started. . Choke problem. The chokes basically still too high or fast even at the lowest point as in the bike still warms up even when it doesn’t need to and then gradually heats to a point where the bike turns off and the cooling fan comes on. . Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks for reading, i will take pictures and upload in where I could get any assistance. .

I installed a bbk cable and now my clutch won’t disengage wtf do I do? I got a fire wall adjuster and a aftermarket quadrant but the cable ain’t pulling the fork far enough to disengage ☹️

Hey did you put your carbs on there's sides and so the float tab just rests on the needle valve tip and measure?

So did you put spacer behind quadrant?it don't look like you have one on the arm. If not has it given any trouble? Ex: broken cable

Hey my raptor 660r is over heats when cruising on the trials with my kids but if I gun it. It will not over heat. I'm using dynojet 144 for the low and 146 for the high. For the needles it's at number 4.

Hey man I’ve got my carbs set on 3 turns on both it cranks up perfect sets idles perfect give it gas does great it revs up great wheni take off in first it’s good but when I hit 2nd ,3rd etc to open her up it wants to go but then it will like bog down on me and won’t accelerate to wide open I’ve also got the needles both on 4 notches what do you think I should do… I was thinking maybe going down another notch on both needles to hopefully it will give me more gas when I try to open it up what yu think

My quad when gets warm d up has a low rpm sputter when I first get on it but then comes out of it. At higher rpm. .I have pipe stage 2 dyno jet k n. Pro Flo kit modded box.

What yr model is this is on, I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3 that I just had a new Powertrain engine installed in. It’s burning thru ridiculous amounts of oil and warranty Dept said it could be bc of the drivers side valve cover not being updated. Just not sure it would be burning a qt of oil per tank of fuel bc of the valve cover. Any input would be appreciated.

I have an 02 660 new carbs aftermarket it runs fine starts right up you can give it full throttle wants give it full throttle again and it’ll stall out but if you stay in the throttle it will stay running wide-open what’s my problem new jets
