I was on Buckaroo yesterday and it was a great run, think he got too far back but understand they needed to ride him cold for his first try at the trip. He wont be getting any of mine over 3200 in the cup but then again who am I to doubt Chris Waller, we said similar about Verry Elleegant.

Hi Lew. Thanks for Vision. I took $1.55 on S.Bet last night. Didn't watch race till now. A T.M on 4 leg$. O'Brien stable dominate staying ranks in British isles. On a side note to the M.C the Waller stable horse Land Legend proved a real handfull In the Caulfield Cup yesterday You could see in the running he refused to settle. I think he doesn't like being cluttered up among horses. Will be interesting if they change tactics in the M.C. Ok mate Geelong Cup this week.Cheers.

Only 1 surprise in the race, Circle of Fire not running top 9 for my same race multi 🙃 Luckily i had the top 5 in plenty of other combo's 👍

Horse is flying but Buckaroo won’t get 2 miles. He was able to finish over a mile an a half today cos it looked a very slow tempo . Cox plate would be better for him imo

Hi Lew. Just checked S.BET futures. $11 Buckaroonie. Apart from Jan Brueghel this had got to be the "weakest" M.C since Elegant won covid times. No Without a Fight doesn't help nor the horse that ran second to him last year after missing the jump by 4 lengths. Oh well some years are better than others. The problem with the M.C is The VRC call it the greatest 2 mile andycap in the world. But the reality is horses like Kyprios and co are not catered to coming here. The VRC, if they want the best staying horses to come here have got to make changes and I reckon they haven't figured out how to go about it. Instead of a minimum topweight, a Maximum topweight would be more attractive to the best stayers going around. They keep changing the rules anyway so why not give it a try. Anyway enough for now. Race replay time. Thanks for vids Lew You have built a fantastic staying library for everyone to use our there and I constantly refer back to it when doing form. Cheers mate.

Hi Lew. Thanks for your efforts again. Another shorty rolled at Caulfield yesterday.Definitely suss at the distance. Anything Zarah hops on in good races is worth a double investigation. Freedman's understand. Can't see any M.C runners out of that lot. Punters are really going to have to do a lot of weight drops to alloted weights assessments going into M.C this year mate. Oh the fun of it all chasing a buck!!! Could I get your overall opinion of Jan Brueghel from what you've seen. Done nothing wrong so far. Loves a stouch.

I am hoping to see a different ride. Okita was o.k. The Caulfield cup is usually a good guide next week. No hurry to narrow main chances down yet. Just hoping there will be no perceived track bias next week when the rail goes back to True. Cheers

Thank you for the video. I think Ben Melham got caught with his pants down...he was too confident that he was getting the best run. I still think Point king will go very close in winning the cup with 50.5 kg and Jamie Kah on board could be the second female to win it.

Hi Lew. Great coverage of qualiifying conditions extremely helpful. When the VRC Release the first acceptors you would think they would have the courtesy to update what you have covered today. NO, just an alphabetical list to download. Geez no wonder NSW is ten lengths in front of them!!! Both winners of the Bart Cummings and Metropolitan are at the discretion of the handicapper to get a weight rise. Usually this is released on Monday after both races.Either way they were both close finishes. I think the winner of the Cummings got a small increase last year but don't quote me. Land Legend has a bad habit of turning his head to the side (left) going clockwise. He did that also when he won the ATC St Leger. first up!!!He definitely deserves a place in the M.C. I have Serious dobts about Just Fine running a strong 3200. Guess we find out in 31 days. Cheers Lew thanks again
