@Nas-f3q It also sold a lot less than smackdown becsuse it wasnt on ps1. It's a big reason the smackdown series continued to this day while the aki series ended with no mercy.

why not? it's the developer's own created music, even the original intro video from VPW is on the disc.

Actually Toukon Retsuden (Power Move Pro Wrestling) was it who take the first step into 3D Wrestling Games.

Also the music, the insane reversals, all the different rings, the diving moves outside the ring...my brother and I went from RAW and Royal Rumble on SNES to this -- we absolutely lost our minds lol, it was just an amazing experience for two diehard wrestling fans like us! The only negative about this game is that there's no Tag team matches, it's a shame because with an amazing roster like this it would have been incredibly fun to create all kinf of teams/alliances. Ah well, at least you could do "group" matches (5 on 5, 1 wrestler at a time). 😊

@@Linchpin_TF I feel like Power Moves Pro-Wrestling started it all. It's damn-near the same game as this and the AKI games on N64. PMPW is the start of it all.

For Kensuke fans this game was a blast since he's there twice, as himself and also as his "Power Warriors" version when he was with Hawk.

It's Ken Shamrock, before he went to WWF. His moveset is from his UWF/Pancrase days as a shoot fighter, but it's definitely him. No idea why they gave him that Disco Inferno picture lol, my guess is that they did this not to be in trouble over copyright or stuff like that (same reason they gave a weird profile picture of a bald dude to Terry Funk that clearly doesn't look like him at all), but it's Ken Shamrock for sure.

@@jonathanturbide2232 good call. That's crazy AKI put Ken Shamrock in a video game before most if not all. The name that always got me on this game was "Overdose". Clearly, us wrestling fans, across the globe, knew who that was. What a shot at him. R.I.P Hawk

@@PontFlair I think it's compatible. but you need a PS1 memory card for saves.

*@Linchpin_TF* I believe I have one. Originally I bought the PS1 memory card thinking it would be needed for Power Moves Pro-Wrestling, but I didn't. So, if this game is compatible for PS2, that's a plus for me to have that card

I bought this game from either KB Toys or Electronics Boutique just from looking at the cover. I ALMOST bought Fire-Pro Wrestling Returns the same way years later. This game was a fun play. Even though it was 1v1, I got a lot of playtime out of it.

In RRS Mode, win the Fan Appreciaton Day Tag Tournament in September then beat the Funk Bros in the following Match.
