I actually kinda like Takeda and Ukai together, I guess it's because they're both adults and I can relate to an adult relationship a lot more that a teenage one. I don't knooow, at first I didn't ship it at all but then I started noticing how well they worked together for the team. They have this common passion, I could even say that they admire each other to some extent. And they're both so sweet and kind and they deserve all the good things. I think Ukai could bring some enthusiasm and crazy energy in Takeda's life and Takeda could bring his calmness to Ukai's. Maybe they don't have a lot in common outside of volleyball but their energies match a lot and they have similar qualities as well (their determination, their passion, their kindness and thoughtfulness) and I think these are good things to have when you start a relationship with someone. Then again, couldn't this be just platonic? Of course, I think they'd be great friends outside of volleyball as well and I'm certain Takeda started stopping by Ukai's shop a lot more often after they met. Anyways, I'm defending this ship a lot since I didn't see anyone talking about it and it's kinda precious to me..

Tbh I did rewatch the anime and manga, and wondered “Why do people ship YakuLev so much? They barely even interact!” Like, I loved the ship, but I thought most people shipped it because they just wanted Yaku to be shipped with someone. Then I watched a few clips of the Haikyuu stage play “Shinka no Natsu” and went “Ohhhhhh damn that’s some... miniscule background ship fuel happening... but yeah” Also I also watched a lot of the Nekoma stuff while I was at it and I’m still not sure who they want us to ship Kuroo with
