Dear Doctor, I am a pediatric specialist who graduated from Yonsei University School of Medicine in South Korea. While I understand that my university is accredited by the World Health Organization, it is not listed among the 8 approved jurisdictions recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. I completed a 12-month internship and 36 months of residency training in pediatrics in my home country, and I have been running my own pediatric clinic for the past 4 years. I am now interested in moving to Canada to practice medicine but am unable to afford redoing a residency program.
