I heard some guy say that Ace Frehley's guitar playing was overrated the other day on RUclips and I started laughing. I don't even listen to Kiss like that, but when this song came out in 1978, it was the one song that made me start listening to the band more.
Ace F. is the greatest lead guitarist of a freaking famous hard rock group!! He's the TOPS!! in the ranks ( & better than : E.VanHalen, Angus Young & Sammy Haggar. Keep on ROCKING!!
Watching this awesome video again....my brain remembers that SOMEBODY wrote back then... "the ugliest in the band" about Ace?? At this moment I can only say to that man/woman.... You'd wish you'd had HIS charisma...and can only DREAM of playing the guitar the way that Ace(Paul) does !! Ow I COULD go on.... ? The success, the money.... And I hardly EVER swear, but to THOSE kind of people I would say...You're not Miss or Mr. Universe either combined with Ace's talent !! Fuck You !!

THE FAB 4 ARE KISS..no FILLERS or IMITATIONS!!
SPACE ACE & PETER CRISS created and started KISS along with PAUL & GENE. I LOVED THE FAREWELL REUNION TOUR IN 96.. AND IN 98! The full makeup and costumes... pyrotechnics... energy from the band while performing together again AND the crowded arena went crazy!! It was KISS PERFECTION... TRANSPORTING ALL OF US ACROSS SPACE AND TIME.. BACK TO THE 70's & 80's! They performed so well, looked just as they did then, gave us wild energy on stage, their smiles and interaction between each other rocked!
I wish he would have performed more songs from his 1978 solo album like RIP IT OUT, SPEEDING BACK TO MY BABY, SNOWBLIND, OZONE, WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND, I'M IN NEED OF LOVE.
It worked on the album because they could remaster it and everything, but raw, live vocals, not so much. He wasn't too bad in the 80s, but whenever he's been with Kiss, what you see here. Love Kiss, love Ace, but he just needs to close his mouth and open his hands
This is Ace’s song !! It’s not a Kiss song the added it cuz it was a great song and a hit !! It’s on Ace’s solo album and all those songs are GREAT!

It's live! Saw Kiss do it without Ace and Peter. ,79 was inception year. However, the Brooklyn bridge performance in '90's looked and sounded awesome!

They did a remake of the Bobby Darin tune "Kissin Time" which was Bill Aucoin's idea. Ace says in his book, he knew it was going to be a disaster.
