Would not recommend to put points in reckoning, it can you one shot if you tank against bosses.

to quickly mention, in TBC Classic, One Handed Specialisation also affects all damage, so it becomes mandatory for threat generation.

I dont really think the 3% hit talent is that good since the most of the threat comes from consecration and reflect dmg

Hey. I made a "math" mistake. Anticipation after def. cap will provide 3,2% of total avoidance (0,8% of dodge, block, parry and miss). Sorry.

Thanks for this! I've decided to learn the paladin class and learn how to tank in preparation for TBC. Still haven't tanked my first dungeon yet but this had made me more confident.

For me this is actually great news. It shows that this is a class that you really won’t be at a disadvantage for not doing things like naxx/aq40 week to week right now before tbc launches. As the gear from them will really only help when it comes to leveling at most, as you said.

Great work. I knew the outcome before starting the video. Yes, sadly prot paladin are 1 of the specs that will not be stepping into raids with classic gear(except slyleens). Getting crit capped(490 def) and also getting crushed cap(102.4% avoidance) is no easy feat pre kara. You will need 1 spacific item per item slot to achieve this combo. Believe me, paladin tanks are the hardest spec to gear up in pre bis by far

Probably when people said that they did y mean tanks. T3 geared healer is similar in stats to a pre bis 70 healer to an extent.

Classic gear will be good for lvling in TBC, but not for raiding. As you've clearly shown, tanks get destroyed. No questions asked, no apologies given. They get shredded to pieces.

So your plan for tanking is for the main tank to get hit with threat reducing ability? Not a great plan.

Flurry axe has much higher than 1ppm I wear flurry axe and hoj for solo target and its probably 1/5 of the time with SoR im getting double swings

Hey, why not use a faster weapon like flurry axe or hanzo sword for more mp5? both relatively easy to get

Great video! I play prot myself and im raiding aswell, I see you play reckoning, did you left out anticipation or did you skilled that aswell? Currently running with 6,1k HP / 4,2k Mana raidbuffed and 131 spellpower and im happy. But love to get more Inputs :D

In all honesty, this is probably one of the top 3 Paladin class videos. Next to Kargoz and Darealmarky. Everyone else other than you and them is just recycling content. In closing I would like to say thank you for the video; this was an excellent video.

Play a broken class, use broken mechanics.

Paladin really sucked in Classic.

If it works, why make it hard on yourself?
